How To Download:

 

1. Click the download button above

2. Create a new world or use a pre made one in 1.13

3. Go to world folder (Open resource packs folder, go back to minecraft folder -> saves, and find the folder of your world)

4. Put the .zip file in the "datapacks" folder

5. Download the Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/file/sawv9yciwon1yfc/WizardryPack-1.1.zip/file

6. Put it in the resource pack folder and activate it (Make sure it the pack that is on top)

7. Go into your world and write "/reload" in chat

 

How To Use:

 

Basics:

 

The first thing you need to become a wizard is a wand.

This is the wand's crafting recipe:

Like you can see, the recipe will give 2 wooden swords. This is because currently there is no way to add NBT to crafting recipes.

If you will take the stack of swords and put it in your inventory then they will automatically be replaced with 1 wand.

 

If you will hold the wand in your main hand you will see that there is a custom action bar displayed. The action bar shows you how much essence you have.

When you first build a wand it will be in it's fire essence mode, to change modes press [F] (or any hand swapping keybinding) or just move the wand to your offhand.

When you do that, the modes UI will open up:

To pick mode, just look at it's icon (make sure it glows) and swap hands again.

 

To start casting spells you will need to obtain "Elemental Essence".

To do that you will need a new block that this pack adds called the "Essence Absorber".

 

This is the essence absorber's crafting recipe:

Like the wand's recipe, the 3 swords you will get will turn into the essence absorber.

 

The item itself is a player head, when you place it on the ground it will turn into the essence absorber block.

For every wand mode there is an essence type and each type has a different method of obtaining it.

For example, to get fire essence, you need to place the essence absorber above a fire:

When an essence absorber starts generating essence, there will be particles coming out of it to indicate that it contains essence. If you will get close to the essence absorber, it will send you the essence via "Essence Nodes".

 

In addition to the "Essence Absorber", you can craft yourself a "Magic Totem":

Like all the other recipes, the 4 swords you will get will turn into the magic totem.

The item itself is a player head, when you place it on the ground it will turn into the magic totem block.

 

If you place the magic totem next to an essence absorber then the essence absorber will send it's essence to the magic totem.

The totem can hold up to 50 essence points and can only hold one type of essence.

 

You can pick the totem up and place it somewhere else without it losing the essence it had.

To pick it up just break the block under it.

 

The name of the totem's item changes color to indicate what type of essence it holds.

The totem's eyes glow, the color of the glow indicates what type of essence it holds:

Spells:

 

Each wand mode has 3 available spells:

Normal Spell [right-click]

Sky Spell [right-click] + (look directly up 90 degrees)

Heavy Spell [shift] + [right-click]

 

 

Modes:

 

Fire:

To obtain fire essence you need to place your essence absorber above fire:

After about 12 essence points, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the fire and it will be demolished.

 

Normal Spell - Flame Thrower:

lights mobs on fire,

on block hit, will spread fire in a radius of 5x5.

uses 5 fire essence

 

Sky Spell - Fireball Rain:

summons fireballs above you that shoot down at the ground and explodes.

uses 10 fire essence

 

Heavy Spell - Fire Tornado

shoots a ray that when hits the ground creates a huge fire tornado.

uses 25 fire essence

 

Water:

To obtain water essence you need to place your essence absorber above water:

Water Essence

 

 

Normal Spell - Fire Fighter:

turns off all mobs that are on fire,

demolishes fire on block hit.

uses 1 water essence

 

Sky Spell - Rain:

creates a rain for 30 seconds.

uses 10 water essence

 

Heavy Spell - Scuba Breath:

gives you water breathing for 1 minute.

uses 20 water essence

 

Earth:

To obtain earth essence you need to place your essence absorber above any type of seeds:

After about 12 essence points, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the seeds and eat them.

 

 

Normal Spell - Drill:

mines into the direction you shoot it,

poisons mobs.

uses 10 earth essence

 

Sky Spell - Earth Spikes:

all mobs in a radius of 7 blocks from you get launched to the air by earth spikes.

uses 15 earth essence

 

Heavy Spell - Ground Pound:

shoots you into the air, when you hit the ground, create a big hole and damages mobs around you.

uses 20 earth essence

 

Air:

To obtain air essence you need to place your essence absorber above the clouds (y=132):

Normal Spell - Cloud Walker:

gives you slow falling and jump boost,

creates a small cloud under your feet.

uses 10 air essence

 

Sky Spell - Levitation:

launches high into the sky.

uses 10 air essence

 

Heavy Spell - Air Pressure:

launches all close mobs away.

uses 20 air essence

 

Ice:

To obtain ice essence you need to place your essence absorber above any type of ice:

Ice Essence

 

After a while, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the ice and it will melt. The more condense the ice is, the more it lasts (ice<packed ice<blue ice).

 

Normal Spell - Frost Beam:

freezes the mob that it hits,

freezes water.

uses 5 ice essence

 

Sky Spell - Ice Shield:

creates an ice dome around you for a couple of seconds.

uses 10 ice essence

 

Heavy Spell - Ice Spikes:

creates ice spikes that come out of the ground and damages mobs around you (doesn't effect strays).

uses 20 ice essence

 

Life:

To obtain life essence you need to place your essence absorber above any type of single block flower:

Life Essence

 

After around 12 essence points, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the flower and it will die.

 

Normal Spell - Life Beam:

heals the closest mob to you.

uses 10 life essence

 

Sky Spell - Reviver:

cures all infected mobs around you (zombie_villagers, zombie_pigman, Etc.).

uses 20 life essence

 

Heavy Spell - Unbreakable:

gives you regeneration 3,

gives you another row of hearts.

uses 50 life essence

 

Electric:

To obtain electric essence you need to place your essence absorber above a charged creeper:

Electric Essence

 

After around 12 essence points, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the creeper and discharge it.

 

Normal Spell - Lighting Orb:

electrifies all mobs that are near it.

uses 5 electric essence

  

Sky Spell - Lighting Strike:

summons lighting at the position of all mobs near you.

uses 10 electric essence

 

Heavy Spell - Lighting God:

turns you into a lighting orb that electrifies all the mobs around you.

uses 25 electric essence

 

Death:

To obtain death essence you need to place your essence absorber above a wither skeleton spawner.

Wither skeleton spawners can be found in a new structure this pack adds called the "Ancient Nether Temple":

After around 12 essence points, the essence absorber will suck all the energy out of the spawner and change it to a normal skeleton spawner.

 

Normal Spell - Death Skull:

shoots a wither skull.

uses 5 death essence

  

Sky Spell - Death Helix:

spirals all the mobs around you to the sky and kills them (doesn't work on bosses).

uses 30 death essence

 

Heavy Spell - Reaper:

shoots a black cloud that kills EVERYTHING.

uses 50 death essence

 

Space:

To obtain space essence you need to place your essence absorber on the bottom of the end (y=0):

Normal Spell - Space Disk:

gives all hit mobs levitation.

uses 5 space essence

  

Sky Spell - Blackhole:

creates a blackhole that when becomes unstable explodes and destroy everything around it.

uses 50 space essence

 

Heavy Spell - Warmhole:

create a portal that shoots you through time and space, press shift to get out of fazing mode.

uses 5 space essence
