Waypointbeams
Give every player their own waypoints, drawn as tall, glowing light beams in the sky. Beams are private: each player only sees their own. Built entirely with display entities and particles, so there is nothing to install on the client.
Features
- Animated beams: a glass beam that breathes between two widths and slowly turns, with a bright white core.
- Glow through walls: an optional colored outline so a beam stays visible through terrain.
- Floating labels: the name and distance hover above each beam and grow with distance so they stay readable.
- Particle rings: pulsing rings and orbiting sparks at the base of every beam.
- Never lose a direction: waypoints beyond the render distance are drawn at the edge, in their real direction.
- Action bar: look toward a beam to see its name, distance and height difference.
- Menu: a paged GUI to browse, add, rename, recolor, show/hide, share and delete waypoints.
- 9 colors: aqua, blue, purple, pink, red, orange, yellow, lime, white.
- Share with friends: send a copy of a waypoint to an online player.
- Death waypoint: a temporary red beam where a player died, fading after a set time.
- Saved per player and kept between restarts.
- Waypoints can be placed at your position or at given coordinates (supports
~).
Commands
Main command: /waypoint (aliases /wp, /waypoints). With no arguments it opens the menu.
