New Paintball

Introduction

Hello, my name is Piko, and today I am here to show you my brand new minigame, called Paintball. Just wanted to say that I am portuguese, so sorry for my english =P

The Game

In this game, there is 2 random teams. 2 Random colors are choosed to be the arena colors, and when joining you get a wool representing each of the team. You can't join a full team so be fast to get on the team you want. When the game starts, you must kill everyone and how? Your snowballs are a beast, one-shot kill. If your team gets first to the winning points you win! Of course every single thing is configurable so you can translate, configure and design the plugin as you want!

Commands

• /paintball - Main command of the plugin
• /paintball help - Displays help based on permissions (paintball.admin/paintball.user)
• /paintball join <arena> - Joins a arena (paintball.user)
• /paintball leave - Leaves the current arena" (paintball.user)
• /paintball list - Lists all available arenas (paintball.user)
• /paintball create <arena> - Creates a arena (paintball.admin)
• /paintball delete <arena> - Deletes a arena (paintball.admin)
• /paintball setmin <arena> <min> - Defines arena's minimum players (paintball.admin)
• /paintball setmax <arena> <max> - Defines arena's maximum players (paintball.admin)
• /paintball setonspawn/settwospawn/setlobby <arena> - Manages arena locations (paintball.admin)
• /paintball reload - Reloads all the configs (paintball.admin)

Other Permissions

• Join full games - paintball.vip
• Make and break signs - paintball.sign

Newbie Tutorial

1. Download the .jar of this plugin
2. Copy and paste it into your plugins folder in the server folder
3. Reload or restart you server
4. Have fun launching snowballs

Setting up your first arena

1. First do /paintball create <name>, replace <name> with the name that you want
2. Then we must define the locations, by doing /paintball setonspawn/settwospawn/setlobby <arena> (Dont write "setonspawn/settwospawn/setlobby", just use one of them for each location or you will get a unknown command
3. Optional: Define the minimum and maximum players with /paintball setmin <arena> <min> and /paintball setmax <arena> <max> (By default they are set as it is on the config.yml)
4. Optional: Place a join sign
5. Play with /paintball join <arena>

Signs Line1: [Paintball] Line2: join Line3: arenaname Replace arenaname with your arena

Other Information

This plugin uses hidendra's Metrics system to send server related information like player count, java/bukkit/plugin version etc. to the official MCStats servers. You can disable this in the config.yml in plugins/PluginMetrics/.
