McCOD - Call of Duty in Minecraft!
What does this do?
This plugin will allow players to play Call of Duty gamemodes in your Bukkit server. Currently this plugin only supports team-deathmatch (red vs. blue). Deathmatch basically means that the team with the most kills after 10 minutes wins. But later I will add more gamemodes!
How do I use it?
To set up this plugin, download the latest version and put it in your plugins folder inside your Bukkit server. When you restart/reload your server, it will generate a config.yml file and a locations.yml file. The plugin does most of the work for the locations file, so you don't need to worry about messing with it. For help on setting up the configuration file and what the different options do, see Configuration. To set it up in in-game, see Commands & Permissions.
Do I need any other plugins for this to function?
Yes, you will need these plugins for McCOD to work properly:
- TagAPI - Required for name-tag manipulation (to determine which team a player is on)
- Vault - Required for economy rewards for the winning team
Why isn't it working?
If it is giving errors in the console, then you most likely do not have the correct version of Bukkit, or the required plugins. If you are sure that you have everything this requires, then either post a comment or PM me with the error it gives the console and which version of Bukkit you are using. Please note that to be able to play Call of Duty games you need to have set up the lobby location, and the two team spawn locations (red/blue)! Without this, players won't be able to join the Call of Duty game.
Planned features
