What's new

This release expands DragonAltar compatibility across modern Paper and Purpur versions without requiring separate plugin builds.

What’s new

  • Added support for the Paper and Purpur 26.x line.
  • Maintained compatibility with the existing Minecraft 1.21 line.
  • Updated Bukkit attribute handling for compatibility with newer server APIs.
  • Kept Java 21 bytecode and the Paper 1.21 minimum API, allowing one plugin JAR to support multiple server generations.
  • No breaking API changes, existing add-ons using API contract 3.0 remain compatible.

Tested compatibility

  • Paper and Purpur 1.21.x using Java 21.
  • Paper and Purpur 26.1.2 using Java 25.
  • Paper and Purpur 26.2 using Java 25.
  • Tested abilities, rituals, persistence, integrations, shutdowns, and restarts.
  • Automated startup tests confirm DragonAltar enables successfully on supported Paper 26.x servers.
