AfkShop

A customizable GUI coin shop plugin for Paper servers.

AfkShop is a shop plugin that allows players to purchase items using coins or custom server currencies through an easy-to-use GUI.

Server administrators can create shop categories, add items, set prices, and configure their economy directly in-game.

How It Works

Players open the shop, select an item, and confirm their purchase. AfkShop checks their balance, processes the payment, and delivers the item.

Administrators can manage the entire shop in-game without manually creating item configurations.

Shop Management

Hold the item you want to sell in your main hand and use these commands:

/afkshop addcategory <id> [title]
/afkshop additem <category> <slot|auto> <price>
/afkshop setprice <category> <id> <price>
/afkshop setgive <category> <id> <command>
/afkshop removeitem <category> <id>
/afkshop list [category]
/afkshop reload

Item IDs are automatically generated based on the material. You can also use auto to select an available shop slot.

Custom Item Support

AfkShop supports custom items from plugins such as:

• ItemsAdder
• Nexo
• Amethyst Tools

The plugin saves a complete item snapshot, including its display name, lore, enchantments, and custom data.

This allows players to receive the original custom item when purchasing it.

You can also configure external give commands to deliver items through other plugins.

Economy Support

AfkShop supports custom economy systems through configurable console commands.

Example configuration:

Available economy methods:

• command – Uses your configured economy commands.
• vault – Uses the registered Vault economy provider.
• auto – Uses configured commands first and falls back to Vault when commands are not configured.

Note: Command-based balance checking requires your economy plugin to display the balance in the server console.

Shop categories and items are stored in categories.yml.

Purchase Protection

AfkShop includes several systems to help protect transactions:

• Prevents repeated confirmation clicks.
• Allows only one active purchase per player.
• Checks payments before delivering items.
• Supports payment verification.
• Attempts automatic refunds when delivery fails.
• Prevents item movement inside shop GUIs.
• Handles player disconnections during purchases.
• Logs payment and delivery errors.

Installation

1. Download AfkShop.

2. Place the JAR file inside your server's plugins folder.

3. Start your server.

4. Open plugins/AfkShop/config.yml.

5. Configure your economy commands.

6. Create categories and add items using the in-game commands.

Your shop is ready to use!

• Paper 26.3 or newer
• Java 25 or newer
• Vault (Optional)

Troubleshooting

Balance cannot be read

Check your economy commands and make sure the balance response appears in the server console. Use /afkshop selftest <player> to test the connection.

Items are not being delivered

Check your configured give command and make sure it works from the server console.

Custom items lose their properties

Remove the item and add it again while holding the original custom item.

Shop categories or items are missing

Check the server console for configuration errors, invalid materials, or duplicate slots.
