What's new

My Music Player 1.4 — Update Notes

Important: Song Naming System Changed

If you downloaded an older version of My Music Player, your existing song filenames may not work with this version.

The current version uses numbered song names.

Song naming format:

Each song must use its corresponding number:

Song 1 → 1.ogg

Song 2 → 2.ogg

Song 3 → 3.ogg

Song 4 → 4.ogg

Song 5 → 5.ogg

Continue the same numbering system for the rest of your songs, up to Song 100.

Updating from an Older Version

Download My Music Player 1.4

Open My Music Player in your Files app

Go to MyMusic_Player/sounds/music

Paste your songs/audio files there, rename them to 1, 2, 3...

Import the pack in Minecraft

Activate the pack and open My Music Player Menu

Test a few songs to make sure they play correctly.

If your old songs do not work, check their filenames and folder location first. The updated pack does not automatically rename or import existing music files.

 What's New:

Added a separate in-game Guide

Added multiple language options.

Available Languages

The current version includes:

English

German

Spanish (Spain)

Portuguese (Brazil)

Japanese

If your selected language does not have a translation, the pack will use English text instead.

Important Limitations

My Music Player is a resource pack, not a behavior pack or script. Because of Minecraft Bedrock’s resource-pack limitations:

The pack cannot directly pause or stop music by itself.

To stop a currently playing sound, use Minecraft’s /stopsound command.

A custom volume slider is not included. Music volume can be changed through Minecraft’s settings.

The pack does not automatically detect or import music files. Songs must be added manually using the format explained in the Guide.
