What's new

3.1.0: The Cleaner Lens Update

Released on July 21 2026

You know, this update was supposed to release months ago, but due to one file (and i accidentally assumed it was because of bedrock version 1.21.120), it was heavily delayed

But now, i'd figured that almost a year after this redesign, i'll do a smaller, but decently large update on this pack again.

KNOWN ISSUES:

• When cralwing, punching or interacting mostly breaks the in-out transistions

• Baby Husks are smaller than their hitbox.

• Some changes to drowneds dont affect some worlds. Im unsure if its version locked worlds or not

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS:

• Disabling most baby mobs that have been updated for Tiny Takeover in preperation for D°Uzi Craft 1.10 and Aspects 6.6.0.

-- Snifflets, Sea turtle Bees and axololt have been skipped due to them not having any issues.

-- Baby camels, have been fixed, thanks to this drop.

-- Zombies are just scaled down, currently (except the husk, which is tiny on the Java Parity Subpack for SOME REASON)

-- known issue: Due to how it is ported, most attack and fire mob overlays wont match java, and I wont fix it until both packs updates.

• Removed the Sun Halo texture on Simple and fancy graphics, as bedrock has fixed it.

• Tweaked some tool textures for overall better colouring:

-- More contrast on Diamond tools.

-- The insides of shovels being darker.

-- Wooden Tools and Wooden parts of tools using their upcoming D°UziCraft 1.10 palette, which is softer to look at.

-- An improved Copper Pickaxe, Hoe, and Shovel.

• Added Spear textures.

• Red Sand is now wavy, like regular Sand

• Wool has a wavy pattern on it.

-- It doesnt include beds, as i might plan to add unique patterns for each colour.

• Remade dirt in a more humane way: by redrawing it.

-- I grew to not like how messy it looked, so it figured to make it more chunky, looking, and better on the eye.

• Improved crawling animation, buy making transitions more seemless on the Java Parity Subpack, Consistent punching when hitting on java, and the arms raising when moving.

• Remade leash item texture to not look as sucky as before.

• Retextured Diamonds to have a rough gem shape.

• Iron and Gold Ingots have a similar texture to copper. ingots

• Name tags have a gold handle on them

-- This is to reflect the fact that they are craftable since the Tiny Takeover drop.

• Changed the appearence of bows, crossbows, and fishing rods.

• Added more flair to the Evoker's robe, cause wow, is the vanilla texture not good.

-- The robe does look better when using the "Java Parity" subpack, as it contains the bottom 2 pixels of the robe that isnt visible otherwise.

• Scaffoling, is white.

• Xp orbs have been downscaled to be pixel consistent, and they do look better that way!

• I did not turn shears into iron scissors, what are you talking about?

• Changed Obsidian texture to be based on an early retexture of it, back when the texture update was brand new.

-- This change also made obsidian not rotate at all, as it would look better without said randomness.

• Kids, i baked cookies!

• Disk (i know its with a "c") are flatter, but also shinier. -- I did also added the bounce music disk, but now it means that every year, the next disk is going to look really jarring, compared to the others.

• Spent 3 weeks remaking most of the armor in the game to have a unique looks, rather than just palette swamps. Took up most of the development time for this update.

-- Armor trims wont be available yet, as they have to be adapted for the new designs.

-- Same thing with baby armor, although its just because D°UziCraft 1.10 isnt out yet.

--- Infact, on a progress update on that, based on what he told me: not even half of the baby mobs are ready yet, and Tiny Takeover was released almost 4 months ago. So for fans of that pack, y'all have to be extremely patient

-- Leggings also now cover your cheeks, so that they aren't exposed each time you have to sneak.

-- Credit to Silapeja (@_silpaeja on Youtube), for inspiration for the leather, diamond, and netherite armor set designs!

• Dark Oak Leaves no longer rotate, as Pale Oak Leaves don't rotate.

• The regular, unzombified Cleric, has a shinier cloak.

• Spider legs dont look as cursed, nor bendy as before.

• On deserts and badlands, scorpions will take the place of Spiders.

-- They do shift back to normal the moment they step out of those biomes, however.

• Creeper faces glow when they are about to explode.

• Changed Heart of the Sea texture.

• Furnaces are more rustic-looking.

• water has been changed to look a bit more randomized, and natural looking.

-- By that, i mean its just the caustics texture but squished to fit a 16x block

-- Fun fact, due to how water's visuals work on Vibrant Visuals, this is the first MERS texture that i had to make.

-- Credit to RobotPants (@RobotPant on Twitter/X) for the caustics texture that was used for this!

• Netherite Scrap now uses the netherite colour palette.

• Changed the Darkness effect icon

-- There is also a Vanilla-like icon on the files.

• A few splash text have been added. Can you find them?

• Updated the witch's hat to use a newer design that i made for Cake's Cosmetic Pack, while also tweaking the main texture a bit.

• I am not paying for realms Microslop, dont try to convince me otherwise.

• Changed the netherite upgrade silhouette on the Smithing table to match it's current texture.

--------

Java Parity Only Section:

--------

• Adjusted Torch and Mace to be less obstructive

-- Torches have also been mostly adjusted aswell, position wise.

• Armour slot icons now match Java.

• For this subpack only, for now, holding torches and lanterns shows a unique item pose.

-- I could mak them 3D, but it depends on if i do more 3D items before then.

• Clay no longer rotate

FIXES:

• The bottom side of farmland no longer changes to coarse dirt.

• Brick slabs now produce nether brick slabs, like other brick blocks.

• Updated The selection of upgradable items on a Smithing Table so that it should no longer bug out.

--------

Java Parity Only Section:

--------

• Updated Attachables for the latest Detached update.

• Fixed tab icons not showing certain items (expect for the nature tab. something happened and now my workaround doesnt work)

• Fixed Cat's tail and (probably?) fully fixed Ocelots

• The drowned swimming animation transition is now smooth for trident drowneds

• Fixed a content Error with skeletons.

• baby husk should no longer be visible

-- Also fixed a content error that was related to that.

PACK DOCUMENTS:

• Added an explanation on the new armor model's UV in "Docs.txt"

• All mentions of "CakeofCraft" is now "Cakeofcraft".

-- Its a little useless, as its a 1 letter change, but it doenst matter as much as you think it does.

• Removed Content.json, as it was actually used for marketplace validation, not for caching.

-- said file was why the update took this long

• Changed UUID in order to prevent replacing the pack's contents.

• Changed Version number to 3.1.0.

NOTES:

• This may come of a suprised, but by the end of making this update, it became harder to ahve as much motivation as at the start. So it may not come as a suprised to say that i will be taking some time off making Minecraft content for maybe a few months.

-- This could be because I was at a period of high levels of stress for a prolonged period of time, Which i wont go too much on detail as to why, or that i want to dabble into programming for real for the very first time. Just note that now, i am fine, and you shouldn't have to worry about me all too much.

• I also started moving more and more to linux and Java edition (i've already made 2 packs there), which most of you can tell the issue with this. It is one of the few reason why i still cling onto my Windows installation.

-- Already, truly using windows for a months again felt like internal torture, so it will feel great to go back to my new conform food.

-- There are some ways to run bedrock on linux, Most noticeable, a launcher that uses the Android version, but it is quite buggy. Due to this, updates on my bedrock packs may slow down.

--- I'll try the bedrock launcher, and see if it's good enough to work on my packs there. im pretty sure tlgm2308 kinda had to, due to bugs on that version.
