Cake’s D°Uzi Tweaks

An even better way of playing Minecraft, with improved visuals for some mobs and textures!

MUST BE USED WITH D°UZI CRAFT!

Cake’s D°Uzi Tweaks is a D°Uzi Craft Addon that aims to redefine most of Minecraft’s visuals, by adding and changing animations, models and textures to the game. The pack is based of D°Uzi Craft, an already preexisting pack, and is needed for it to work.

Major Features:

  • Changes multiple features from vanilla or D°Uzi Craft
  • Adds some unique features and makes certain textures more recipe based
  • Fixes and improves some of these features and bugs

Cake's D°Uzi Tweaks also includes a Java Parity Subpack that allows Java Aspects to be compatible with D°Uzi Craft.

(Note: some textures may have been changed after this video's release.)

Applying The Packs:

To use this pack, you'll need D°Uzi Craft below this pack. With the Java Parity Subpack activated, Java Aspects will have to be below D°Uzi Craft. Making sure the packs are correctly ordered is key to have a mostly bug-free experience.

FAQ:

Here are a list of question that are bound to happen. If you answer with one of these questions, I'll answer with "Read the FAQ section"

Q: Can this pack be used alone?
A: For now, D°Uzi Craft is a dependency to avoid issues such as invisible mobs, but you will be able to use it alone in the future.

Q: When do updates Arrive?
A: Updates will only come either when necessary, which is usually major issues which calls for a hotfix, or when they are ready. No promises of a release date when an update is made however. I also dont want to make frequent updates as it would prevent me from doing what i like. Some creators, like LaCarrotteRebel, are already tired due to constant support. Making addons isnt a job, after all. (unless you are a marketplace partner.)

Q: I dont like X feature/texture, can you remove it?
A: While i dont intend of removing said feature, unless i too dont like it or due to feedback, you are allowed to personally modify your copy of the pack, so long as you dont redistribute. You'll probably only need a basic text editor/file explore for removing said feature, but do be warned: you'll have to redo these changes within every update, a concept i was too familiar with for a while. And before you ask, im am not gonna babysit you, do it yourself. There are alot of tutorials on texture packs alone on youtube.

Q: Is this pack compatible with Vibrant Visuals?
A: While its usable with Vibrant Visuals, there wont be any PBR features for a while. Its clear that Vibrant Visuals is not compatible with marketplace resource packs (im so sorry Actions & Stuff fanboys), plus, MERS data has tp be applied to literally EVERY MODIFIED TEXTURE. Dont you know how annoying this is? So for now, the pack has some issues with emissive, roughness and reflective textures that wont be fixed.

Q: Why is this pack compatible with Java Aspect?
A: This is because when the pack was still refered to as Cake's D°Uzi Craft Java Parity Pack (jesus that name is long), it needed Java Aspects to work properly, but since all of that is handle via the Java Parity Subpack as of 3.0.0, it is no longer a dependancy. Do note that for most cases, Java Aspects compatibility for some features has to be added manually. Ill see in the future if im able to remove some D°Uzi Craft code to make the compatibility process alot easier and more full-proof.

Q: Is this compatible with X Pack?
A: This one touches both packs. While we dont guarantee that all packs will work, we do guarantee that atleast some of them would, like La Nature by Carrot.

Q: Actions & Stuff?
A: Well, not fully, even on the Custom Experience (64x, basically a compatibility mode), As D°Uzi Craft's entity files will have to be trimmed down to only include the necessaties, which is possible, by the way, and helps with compression. I'll have to tell the creator about this however.

Small rant: i dont like how some pack comments are clogged with this question, expecting it to work immedietly even though for some of us, adding compatibility would be too much work, or downright impossible while staying compatible with vanilla, and since this question is here, dont complain if i answer with "Read the FAQ section"

Q: Ive been getting frequent crashes, why is that?
A: I assume it is caused by D°Uzi Craft, maybe it has to do with the locators content errors. If it's cause by another pack, try removing it.

Q: Where is Cake's D°Uzi Craft Java Parity Pack?
A: this is that pack.

Basic terms of use:

As a user, you are allowed to use and edit the pack personally, along with sharing the pack by linking the person to the MCPEDL, Planet Minecraft or Curseforge page.

However, you are not allowed to redistribute the pack, unmodified or not, or claim the pack as yours. Failure to follow these basic rules will lead into action.

If you want to use certain assets for a pack of yours, just contact me, and ill have the final say on if you're allowed or not. I'll only allow you to use assets that I made to protect the work of the people who made shared assets. For assets made by someone else, you'll have to contact them.
