## Description
Baku X Night turns Minecraft's sky and air into something out of a dream — deep violets at midnight, hot magenta bleeding into the horizon at dawn and dusk, and a soft, glowing haze that sits over every field, forest, and mountain range you walk into. It doesn't touch a single texture. Every block, every item, every mob looks exactly the way it always has. What changes is the atmosphere wrapped around them: the color of the light falling on your world, the fog drifting between the trees, the tint of the water at your feet, and the color of the sky stretching out above it all.
This is a pure shader pack built entirely on Minecraft Bedrock's Vibrant Visuals rendering system. If you've ever wanted your world to feel like it was lit by candy-colored moonlight even at noon, this is that pack — and because it never overwrites a texture file, it drops in cleanly on top of whatever texture pack you're already using, no conflicts, no missing textures, no compatibility headaches.
### A Sky That Actually Changes With You
The heart of Baku X Night is a full day-to-night atmospheric cycle, not a single static color wash. At midday the sky sits in warm violet and orchid tones with a soft golden light pushing through. As the sun drops toward the horizon, that violet ignites into a hot magenta-orange sunset glow. At midnight, the sky deepens into a rich, saturated purple — closer to a nebula than a night sky — with the moon casting a cool lavender light across the land. Dawn brings its own blend of cool blue-violet and pink before the cycle rolls back into day. None of this is a single flat texture; it's a fully key-framed atmospheric system that shifts continuously as Minecraft's in-game clock moves, the same way vanilla's blue-sky cycle does, just recolored into something far more atmospheric.
### Fog You Can Feel
Layered on top of the sky is a dense, volumetric magenta-violet fog that gives the world real depth. It isn't a flat distance-fog trick — it has genuine volumetric density, meaning it hangs thicker near the ground and thins out as it rises, exactly like real haze. Walk toward a distant village or mountain range and watch it slowly resolve out of the purple mist. It's tuned to be atmospheric and moody without ever making the game unplayable — you can still see enough to build, explore, and fight comfortably.
### Lighting and Color Grading Built for the Mood
Underneath the sky and fog sits a custom lighting profile that shifts the sun's color from warm gold at noon to soft pink at sunset to a cool violet-tinted glow at night, paired with a lifted, saturated ambient light so that even shadows and cave mouths carry a hint of purple rather than falling into flat black. On top of that, a dedicated color grading pass pushes overall saturation up, warms the highlights, and tints the shadows toward magenta, so screenshots taken in this pack have that vivid, slightly surreal "dreamcore" look rather than Minecraft's usual naturalistic palette.
### Water With a Tint
Rivers, lakes, and oceans pick up a soft violet-blue tint and a touch of added murkiness, so bodies of water read as part of the same dreamy palette instead of standing out as plain vanilla blue. It's subtle enough that you can still see and swim normally — it just belongs to the same world as everything above it.
### Every Dimension, Every BiomeBaku X Night doesn't stop at a handful of showcase biomes. All 87 vanilla biome definitions are linked into the system, from plains and forests to oceans, mountains, mesas, and cherry groves, so there are no gaps where the game suddenly snaps back to a default look. The Nether gets its own warmer magenta-pink treatment that still feels like the Nether — fire and heat, just filtered through the same color language as the rest of the pack. The End is pushed even further into deep cosmic purple, turning that already-alien dimension into something that feels genuinely otherworldly.
### Why "No Textures" Is a Feature, Not a Limitation
A lot of shader-style packs quietly bundle in retextured blocks, custom PBR normal maps, or a redesigned sun and moon — which looks great until you try to run your favorite texture pack alongside it and half your world doesn't match anymore. Baku X Night was deliberately built the opposite way: everything you see is achieved through Vibrant Visuals' fog, lighting, color grading, atmospheric, and water settings alone. That means it will sit on top of literally any texture pack — realistic, cartoon, faithful, or anything in between — and simply change the mood of the lighting and sky around it, without ever fighting your textures for control.
### Requirements and Installation
Baku X Night requires Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.90 or later. Just as important: Vibrant Visuals must be turned on in Video settings, or none of these effects will render and the game will look completely default — this is the single most common reason a shader pack "doesn't seem to do anything," so it's worth double-checking before assuming something's wrong. To install, open the .mcpack file with Minecraft (or import it from the Storage settings menu) to add it to your resource pack library, then apply it to a new or existing world from the world's Resource Packs screen. Since it carries no textures at all, load order relative to your texture pack doesn't matter — it will never overwrite anything.

Baku X Night is an original work created by Baku Studio, built on Minecraft's public Vibrant Visuals framework. Every fog, lighting, color grading, atmospheric, and water value in this pack was authored specifically for it.
