YGP! Minecraft But Villagers Give OP Items transforms villager trading in Minecraft Bedrock into a progression-based reward system. Start with simple Novice trades, level your villagers through Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, and Master, and unlock increasingly powerful rewards based on each villager's profession.

Unlike a system where every villager gives the same OP items, this addon gives each profession its own specialized trade progression.

Your Armorer focuses on armor. Your Toolsmith focuses on tools. Your Weaponsmith focuses on weapons. Your Librarian focuses on books and enchanting. And every other profession has its own role.

How It Works

Villagers have five trading levels:

Level 1 — Novice

Novice is the universal starting level.

All supported working professions begin with the same starter trades:

1 Dirt → 10 Emeralds

10 Emeralds → 15 Books

The Book also provides access to the YGP Villager Guide, allowing you to learn about the different villager professions, their roles, job-site blocks, and their custom trade progression.

Level 2 — Apprentice

Once a villager reaches Apprentice, its trades become profession-specific.

The Armorer won't suddenly start giving the same rewards as the Farmer.

The Librarian won't receive the Weaponsmith's rewards.

Each profession follows its own trading path based on its Minecraft role.

Level 3 — Journeyman

Journeyman continues the profession-specific progression with stronger and more valuable rewards.

As villagers level up, their trades become increasingly useful for survival, exploration, combat, building, and progression.

Level 4 — Expert

Expert unlocks advanced profession-specific rewards.

This is where more powerful YGP items and End-related rewards can become part of the trading progression, depending on the profession.

Level 5 — Master

Master is the highest villager trading level.

Master villagers provide the strongest rewards available to their profession, creating a powerful end-game trading progression.

The addon supports the major working villager professions and gives each one a distinct purpose.

Armorer

Job Site: Blast Furnace Role: Armor

The Armorer specializes in armor-related trades.

Its progression focuses on defensive equipment, armor upgrades, and powerful armor rewards.

The exact rewards depend on the actual addon implementation.

No Cross-Profession Reward Mixing

This is one of the core features of the addon.

Each profession has its own custom trade pool from Apprentice through Master.

For example:

If a YGP armor item belongs to the Armorer, it will not automatically appear in:

Librarian

Farmer

Weaponsmith

Toolsmith

Fletcher

Likewise, a Weaponsmith reward will not automatically appear in another profession.

This keeps every villager profession meaningful and gives players a reason to build different types of villagers.
