YGP! Dirt Gives OP Items turns Minecraft Bedrock dirt breaking into a randomized survival experience where every supported dirt-family block can produce a different reward, event, enemy encounter, or extremely rare YGP outcome.

YGP V2 Gear Expansion

The addon now features the expanded YGP V2 equipment set, bringing powerful YGP-branded tools and armor into the Dirt Give OP Items experience.

The YGP V2 equipment is designed to be significantly more powerful than ordinary Minecraft equipment and gives the addon its own unique high-tier gear progression.

Randomized Reward System

Breaking supported dirt-family blocks can produce different reward tiers:

Common — 55%

Rare — 25%

Epic — 12%

Legendary — 5%

YGP / OP Tier — 3%

The rarer the outcome, the more valuable, unusual, or powerful the reward can become.

The 3% top-tier outcome guarantees the YGP V2 Blade, followed by an additional OP loot reward.

This means the rarest dirt outcomes can completely change your survival progression.

YGP V2 Blade

The YGP V2 Blade is one of the addon’s special high-tier items.

It includes two custom abilities:

YGP Surge

Activate the Surge ability to receive powerful temporary effects including:

Strength

Resistance

Regeneration

Speed

Absorption

Night Vision

Cooldown: 8 seconds

YGP Pulse

Use the Pulse ability while sneaking to activate a powerful support effect.

Pulse can:

Heal the player

Provide Fire Resistance

Provide Saturation

Extinguish fire

Affect nearby non-player entities

Cooldown: 12 seconds

Special Dirt Events

Dirt breaking isn't limited to item rewards.

A dirt break can also trigger special events and encounters, including:

Random rewards

Rare rewards

Special events

Enemy encounters

Rare enemy encounters

Extremely rare events

OP enemy encounters

This makes ordinary dirt surprisingly dangerous — and surprisingly rewarding.

Enemy Encounters

The addon includes a large collection of custom enemy encounter definitions with different difficulty levels and configurations.

Current implementation includes:

18 regular enemy definitions

3 OP enemy definitions

These encounters make rare dirt events more unpredictable and can turn a normal mining session into an unexpected battle.

OP Enemy Rewards

Defeating certain OP dirt enemies can provide additional high-tier rewards.

The OP enemy reward system includes a 35% chance to receive the YGP V2 Blade, with other powerful rewards available through the same reward path.

The addon currently supports multiple dirt-family blocks, including:

Dirt

Grass Block

Coarse Dirt

Dirt with Roots

Podzol

Mycelium

So don't assume only normal Dirt is involved.

Multiplayer

YGP! Dirt Gives OP Items is designed with multiplayer gameplay in mind.

Player-specific state is used for relevant cooldown and event handling so that one player's interaction does not unnecessarily overwrite another player's state.

Performance

The main dirt interaction system uses an event-driven approach instead of continuously scanning the entire world every tick.

This helps avoid unnecessary processing during normal gameplay.
