About
XP Rig lets you build a compact mining farm that generates experience without fuel, mobs, or a stream of loose XP orbs.
Put a controller at the center, connect up to four computing modules, and add a cooler to run them all at once. Power the controller with redstone and collect the stored experience from its live control panel whenever you need it.
Features
- Buildable XP farm: Place a controller and up to four modules directly beside it.
- Upgradeable output: Each active module generates 1 XP every 4 seconds. A full rig generates 60 XP per minute.
- Cooling matters: One module runs without a cooler. Place a cooler directly above the controller to run all four.
- No consumable fuel: The rig needs a redstone signal but does not burn coal or other items.
- Live control panel: Watch the status, output rate, module count, and stored XP update while the menu is open.
- Built-in storage: Hold up to 1,000 XP. Mining pauses when the storage is full.
- English and Russian localization: Block names and interface text are translated.
How to use
- Craft and place an XP Rig Controller.
- Power it with redstone. You can run the signal under the floor to keep the setup tidy.
- Place XP Rig Modules directly north, south, east, or west of the controller.
- Place an XP Rig Cooler directly above the controller to run more than one module.
- Interact with the controller to see its status and collect the experience it has stored.
Crafting
The controller uses iron, copper blocks, two redstone blocks, and a diamond. Each module uses copper, redstone, Nether quartz, iron, and a diamond. The cooler uses copper, iron, and a water bucket. All three are crafted at a crafting table.
Notes
- The rig works only while its chunk is loaded. It does not generate offline progress.
- Breaking the controller as a player returns its stored XP to the player. If it is destroyed without a player, the stored XP is lost.
- The redstone signal switches the rig on; its strength does not change the mining rate.
