VectorLock-SwordAiming
What's new
VectorLock: Sword Aiming
First public release.
- Sword Lock — hit a mob with any sword and the camera latches onto it, holding the target while you circle, strafe and swing. On by default.
- Lock on Hit — the latch fires the moment your sword lands, so no right-click is needed; fully playable on touch. Toggleable.
- Tap to lock, tap to release — long-press a mob while holding a sword to latch it, long-press the same target again to let go.
- Turn Speed — slider, 2 to 20 degrees per correction (default 8). The camera is steered toward the target, never snapped to it.
- Adaptive tracking — corrections are gentle and infrequent inside 10 blocks (6° deadzone) and tighten with distance (1.5° past 15 blocks), so close-range manual aiming still goes through.
- Track Pitch — vertical aim engages only past 10 blocks; in melee, up/down is left to you. Toggleable, on by default.
- Release Range — slider, 8 to 40 blocks (default 30); the lock drops on its own past that.
- Sneak + jump releases the lock instantly. The lock also drops when the target dies, you sheathe the sword, or the master switch is turned off.
- Momentum preserved — velocity lost to the rotation is re-applied, so a locked sprint stays a sprint.
- Target Mode — All, Hostile only, Passive only, or Players only; shared with every other VectorLock pack. Never targets you, and ignores dropped items, XP orbs, projectiles, boats, minecarts, armor stands, item frames and paintings.
- Target readout — the action bar shows
◎and the name of the locked entity. - API master switch — turn the add-on off for a vanilla session without losing your settings.
- English / ไทย in-game menu.
- Unified menu: Sneak + hold a Compass. Runs standalone, or joins the shared menu when VectorLock Core is installed.
- Built on the Stable Script API (
@minecraft/server 1.18.0) — no Experiments required,product_type: addonso achievements stay enabled. - Minimum engine: Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.70.
