Vanilla End Expansion

There are dozens of addons that expand on the end in Minecraft, but this is different. Vanilla End Expansion is the most vanilla+, survival-friendly end addon yet; adding features that Mojang would actually add to the end. Not just "Enderite" and "End forest". Vanilla End Expansion tries to emulate Mojang-style features, without losing the core idea of the end as a barren, desolate, wasteland.

This addon adds 2 new end biomes, 7 new blocks and 3 new end songs to make the end more interesting to explore.

Purpur Wastes

This biome is a wasteland made of the new raw purpur block, full of amethyst veins, volcanic ponds and obsidian spikes; as well as a new dangerous hazard.

The purpur block set has been expanded, with raw purpur blocks, smooth purpur blocks and chiseled purpur blocks all being new additions. Raw purpur smelts into smooth purpur, which crafts into regular purpur blocks, which again, crafts to chiseled purpur blocks.

Purpur geysers are a new block that will shoot the player into the air when stepped on, dealing hefty fall damage. These can be found randomly around the purpur wastes biome and can be mined and collected with a silk touch pickaxe.

Ender Desert

This is another vast, empty wasteland made of new end sand, with veins of blackstone, raw purpur rocks and creatures that don't like to be disturbed.

Endermite nests are a new block that will release 3 endermites when stepped on. These spawn in clumps and can be very dangerous if you aren't careful! Similarly to purpur geysers, these can be mined and collected with silk touch. When broken without silk touch, they drop 1-3 purpur gel.

Purpur gel can be crafted with blue ice in the recipe below to make purpur ice. This ice has little to no friction and is an expensive but powerful way to travel, as it has almost no maximum speed when ridden on in a boat.

This addon also has a 3 song original soundtrack for ambient songs that play randomly when in the end. These songs are Proxima Centauri, Opals and Nosebleed, all fully made by me.
