Tides & Treasures [Fishing Expansion]

Have you ever thought that minecraft fishing is too basic or boring? Tides & Treasures is a new addon that adds over 20 new fish to minecraft, as well as biome-exclusive fish and rarities to show off rare fish to your friends. Every new fish has a unique purpose, crafting recipe, potion effect, etc to make fishing in minecraft finally interesting.

These are fish that can be found anywhere, no matter what biome you are fishing in.

Carp:

No unique uses yet.

Bonefin:

Crafts into 4 bone meal.

Inkbelly:

Inflicts blindness on the player when eaten.

Rocksucker

Hurts to eat. It's a literally made of rock.

Mossgill

Crafts into 16 moss blocks.

Electric Eel

Gives the player speed when eaten.

Luminous Angler

Gives the player night vision when eaten. Very helpful for mining trips.

Explosive Snapper

Crafted into 8 gunpowder.

Swordfish:

Deals 7 attack damage, but has only 3 durability.

These are fish that are only found in hot biomes like deserts or savannahs.

Sandskimmer

Crafts into sand.

Dusttail:

Tastes like sand.

Mirage Trout

Gives the player invisibility when eaten.

Cinder Eel:

Gives the player fire resistance when eaten.

These are fish that can only be found in cold or snowy biomes.

Icegill:

Tastes cold.

Snowray: 

Crystal Cod:

Crafts into a sponge.

These fish can only be found in "wild" biomes like jungles and swamps.

Tangled Pike:

Crafts into 4 vines.

Leechfin:

Inflicts poison onto the player when eaten.

Green Croaker:

Gives the player jump boost when eaten.

Venomous Dartfish:

Inflicts poison to any nearby mobs or players.

Radioactive Carp:

Inflicts nausea and slowness to all nearby entities.

Golden Gildwhisker:

Blesses the player and all nearby players with the effects of an enchanted golden apple.

Magmatic Leviathan:

Crafts into a netherite ingot.

Aurora Phantomfish:

When held in the off-hand, blesses the player with permanent conduit power effect.

Spirit Lanternfish:

When eaten, blesses the player with 3000 XP.

One in every 100 fish will be shiny. This makes it have an enchantment glint but has no effect on behaviors or crafting.

Information:

There are plans to update this addon with new fish, new features and bugfixes, so any feedback on features or bugs is really appreciated. This addon is a collaboration with Dudziol, who made most of the incredible textures. This addon doesn't require any experimental toggles to function.

Make sure both the resource pack and behaviour pack are enabled on the world or realm.
