Seasons that do more than swap textures. A real Winter brings falling temperatures, water that gradually freezes into ice, and snow that builds up on the ground — and you can craft seasonal clothing to manage it.
Features
Season cycle — Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn automatically cycle over time.
Per-player temperature — calculated from the season, your biome, nearby heat sources, and what you're wearing.
Hot & cold effects — get too cold or too hot for too long and you'll take damage and feel the effects.
Winter physics — nearby water gradually freezes into ice, and snow layers build up on the ground.
Craftable seasonal clothing — Summer Clothes from string and a dye, Winter Clothes from colored wool, each with no durability so they never break.
Natural mitigation — a nearby campfire or heat source fights off the cold, and stepping into water cools you down.
How to Use
Type !season to check the current season and your temperature.
Craft Summer or Winter Clothes at a crafting table and wear them in your chestplate slot.
Stay near heat sources in the cold, or near water in the heat, to manage your temperature.
Notes
This is a Phase 1 release focused on the season cycle and a full Winter — Summer, Spring, and Autumn mechanics are planned for future updates.
Requires both the Behavior Pack and the companion Resource Pack (for clothing item icons) to be activated.
Seasonal clothing is fully functional (equips, protects, never breaks) but doesn't have a custom worn appearance on the player model — that requires 3D modeling tools beyond this add-on's scope.
