Description
The Flesh That Hates: Bedrock Edition
📌 CREDIT, LICENSE & ORIGINAL PROJECT (please read before downloading)
Original mod: The Flesh That Hates, created by winvicc (WinVic) for Java Edition (Forge). Original project page: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/the-flesh-that-hates Original author's profile: https://www.curseforge.com/members/winvicc
This project: an unofficial Bedrock Edition port of that mod, made by GGSTUDIOS. All creatures, blocks, items, names, lore and the "flesh infection" concept originate from winvicc's original Java mod. This port only rebuilds that content to run on Bedrock Edition's engine.

How this port differs from the original (full detail further down): no Biomass system; infection spreads from flesh mobs instead of Incubators; outbreak structures are procedurally generated instead of placed Java structures; the five custom Java status effects are approximated using combinations of vanilla effects; and this port adds a few Bedrock-side extras not in the original — infection structures, tree/leaf infection, and a night-time summon system.
This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by winvicc. It is an independent fan port.
Meet the terrible flesh in your Bedrock world.
A creeping flesh-plague add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Infected mobs walk the night, the ground rots into living tissue, trees bleed into flesh, and tumor nests grow where the infection settles.
⚠️ BETA WARNING: READ THIS FIRST
This is an early BETA build. It has a lot of bugs and glitches. Expect broken animations, missing or wrong textures, odd mob behaviour, lag near heavy infection, and features that don't work as intended. The infection permanently changes blocks in your world. Do not install this on a world you care about without making a backup first. Test it in a fresh or throwaway world. Please report bugs in the comments. It helps a lot!
🩸 Features
Infection
- Flesh mobs spread the infection around themselves. Grass, dirt, stone, cobblestone, sand, gravel and planks are converted into flesh versions.
- Trees and leaves are infected too. Logs become Flesh Trees and leaves become Flesh Foliage.
- Infected ground grows flesh grass, terns, spike grass, saplings and boils.
- Infection structures grow on infected ground: flesh trees, bone spines ringed with spikes, and boil/tumor nests.
- Flesh saplings can grow into full flesh trees.
Night summons
- At night, flesh creatures are summoned near infected ground only. Untouched land stays safe.
- Summoned mobs: Flesh Human, Flesh Piece, Flesh Mutant, Flesh Hunter One and Flesh Howler.
- A spawn cap stops the area around you from being flooded with mobs.
- Flesh mobs also spawn naturally using their own spawn rules.
Creatures (27) Flesh Human, Flesh Villager, Flesh Pillager, Flesh Vindicator, Flesh Cow, Flesh Pig, Flesh Sheep, Flesh Dog, Flesh Piece, Flesh Mutant, Flesh Hunter One, Flesh Hunter Two, Flesh Unseen, Flesh Howler, Flesh Boomer, Flesh Brute One, Flesh Hysterizer, Flesh Infector, Flesh Distributor, Flesh Servant, Flesh Suffer, Flesh Justice, Flesh Cocoon, Flesh Community, Flesh Human Head, and the Flesh Incubator (Embryo and Biogenesis phases).
- One of Us: mobs killed by flesh creatures can rise again as flesh versions.
- Flesh Boomer: explodes into a decomposition cloud and leaves a Flesh Infector behind.
Blocks (24), items (39) and recipes (18)
- Flesh Block, Flesh Bricks, Flesh Plank, Flesh Coublestone, Flesh Sand, Flesh Canals, Flesh Forge, Flesh Spikes, Flesh Boil, Tumor, Purulent Tumor, Pus and more.
- Flesh and Skeletal armor sets, Flesh Sword and Axe, Scalpel, Flesh Compass, Clay Bomb, Pus Bucket, Fossa music disc, and organs/drops (Brain, Heart, Liver, Lungs, Ribs, Spine, Stomach, Tendons and more).

- Flesh saplings grow into trees.
- Custom pack icon and updated pack information.
🔧 What's different from the original Java mod
Please set your expectations before downloading:
- No Biomass system. The Java mod's dynamic difficulty system is not in this port.
- Infection works differently. In the Java mod, Incubators drive the infection. Here, the infection spreads around active flesh mobs. Incubators exist as mobs but do not run the infection.
- Structures are procedural. Bedrock can't place the original Java structure files, so the flesh trees, spines and nests are simple generated equivalents.
- Infected biome is approximated. Bedrock has no way to add a custom biome this way, so "infected area" means ground made of TFTH flesh blocks.
- Custom status effects are approximated. Decomposition, Paralysis, Anabiosis and Flesh Rage use combinations of vanilla effects.
- Fossa disc plays its sound when used. It does not go into a jukebox.
- Animations, models and behaviours are converted by hand and won't match the Java version exactly.
🐛 Known issues (Beta)
- Mob animations may glitch, freeze or play wrongly.
- Some textures or models may look wrong or be missing.
- Mob AI can be odd. Some mobs may stand still, attack strangely or ignore you.
- Infection can spread widely and cannot be easily reversed.
- Heavy infection with many mobs can cause lag.
- Night summons and spread may behave unpredictably in some worlds.
- Not all features from the Java mod exist, and some listed features may not work perfectly.
📥 Installation
- Download the
.mcaddonfile. - Open it. Minecraft Bedrock imports both packs automatically.
- Create a new world (recommended) or edit one, then activate both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack.
- Back up your world first.
Requires Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.0 or newer.
