Stashify v1.3.2
Save System Stability Update
This update focuses on improving Stashify's save reliability for larger setups, especially on worlds using multiple heavily-used Cores.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue where trusted players could disappear after restarting the world or Realm.
- Fixed an issue where some Cores could lose linked storage after restarting, especially in larger setups.
- Fixed a save-system bottleneck caused by all Core data being stored together in one shared save record.
- Fixed cases where Stashify could appear to save successfully even when the save failed.
- Fixed situations where one Core could remember all of its links while another Core only remembered part of them after restart.
- Improved reliability for worlds with large numbers of linked containers, trusted players, presets, and saved Core data.
Added
- Added a new independent per-Core save system so each Core saves its own data separately.
- Added chunked save storage for large Core records to help prevent save-size issues.
- Added save verification checks so failed saves are no longer silently treated as successful.
- Added a safer two-generation save system to protect the last valid saved data if a write fails.
- Added automatic legacy save migration for existing Stashify worlds.
Improved
- Improved long-term save reliability for larger servers and Realms.
- Improved protection against data loss involving:
- linked storage
- trusted players
- presets
- Core settings
- Improved how Stashify handles larger save data without requiring recurring scans or tick loops.
- Improved persistence handling while keeping the add-on event-driven and performance-friendly.
Notes
- This update does not add new gameplay features.
- This update was made specifically to improve save stability and Core data reliability.
- Existing worlds should migrate automatically to the new save system.
