XR's Maleficent Bestiary × XR's Soulsborne Knights Armoury Cross-Over and Combat Update
- Early Progression Rewritten. Changed the original "Steel Ingot" crafting (Iron to Blast Furnace to Steel) to "Hardened Steel" which is now crafted as (1 Gunpowder + 1 Iron Ingot + 2 Iron Nuggets = 1 Hardened Steel Ingot), to prevent conflicts and compatibility with other similar steel crafting add-ons such as Epic Knights, maybe many more.
- Renamed all old steel-related items from "Steel" to "Hardened Steel".
- Renamed the tier "Steel" to "Hardened Steel".
- Added promised custom armor equipping sound effects when equipping an armor piece based on its tier. Standard rare and below tiers still play the same vanilla armor equipping sounds.
- Minimum version requirement changed from 1.21.130 to 1.26.1 (Version 26.1).
- Added a new weapon class "Archgreatsword". A significantly stronger greatsword, has a separate cooldown category. Differs and greater than the category Supergreatsword. Often include super high damage output burst and a very little cooldown duration.
- Added a new weapon class "War Hammer". A weapon category with long reach, super high damage, often has high tier and overpowered abilities, but very far decimal-level minimum range and very slow cooldown. This class needs a very skilled and precise wielder in order to use it properly since it relies on very far minimum distance to the desired hurt entity but logically has very far range.
- The weapon in the semi-longsword and greatsword class: Flame Kindler, now actually has the ability to lit enemies on fire. With the minimum range of 20 to 30 seconds.
- The weapon in the semi-longsword and greatsword class: Blight Greatsword, now has a 2 to 4 seconds stun effect upon hurting a target.
- Added the Knightlord of Cataclysm's Armor. Igris's god-like armor from XR's Maleficent Bestiary.
- Added the Archfragment of Demonic Soul Compositions. Used to be embedded on the tablet of the Demonarian flag on top of the Cataclysmic Amphitheater, and used to summon Igris, the Knightlord of Cataclysm in the XR's Maleficent Bestiary.
- Added the Cataclysmic Fragment. Fragmented version of the Relic of the Damned in the XR's Maleficent Bestiary.
- Added a new weapon in the Greatsword class: Emperor's Sanguine Cataclysmic Greatsword. Introduces multiple abilities: AOE, has a multiplier life on hit, but has a 25/100 chance to reduce 5 hearts of the wielder's health upon hitting a target, and has a special ability called Stalwart Lifepotent Stacker—Kill mobs to permanently gain hearts, with each heart requiring more kills than the last.
- Added a new weapon in the Archgreatsword class: Emperor's Sanguine Cataclysmic Archgreatsword (JSYK; its an upgraded version of the Emperor's Sanguine Cataclysmic Greatsword, even if its obvious lol). Same stats as the previous one, but its a separated cooldown category from standard Greatswords.
- Added a new weapon in the War Hammer class: Hemorrhagic Skullmacer. Has the ability to bust into any armor with instant damage lasting 5 seconds sent to the hurt entity with the cooldown of 3 seconds, and a very far minimum reach. Has a 0.1% chance of spawning in Nether Fortresses' loot chests.
- Added a new weapon in the War Hammer class: Tyrannical Armordemolisher. Has the ability to sweep entities in an AOE and bust into armor with true damage. If two entities or more are near or have less than 4 blocks distance within each other, it can create a damage loop intentionally that can swipe entities through areas infinitely. Only works on mobs, not players. Has a 0.1% chance of spawning in Nether Fortresses' loot chests.
- Added a new weapon in the War Hammer class: Juggernaut's Skullcrusher. Has the ability to instant kill or damage the hurt entity with 3 rows of health within a 1/75 chance, nerfed with super low durability (125 uses). Has a 0.1% chance of spawning in Nether Fortresses' loot chests.
- Added a new weapon tier system that can be seen in the tooltip description of each weapon from the add-on; The Mark Calamity System. The following is how it's structured:
• MCX — Mark Calamity 10
> Super end-game weapons; broken-level power obtained only from near-impossible, semi-immortal boss encounters.
• MCIX — Mark Calamity 9
> End-game overpowered weapons obtained from extremely powerful bosses; high dominance without being game-breaking.
• MCVIII — Mark Calamity 8
> Stable end-game superpower weapons obtained via crafting, loot, or boss rewards; consistent high-tier performance.
• MCVII — Mark Calamity 7
> Trigger-based weapons required to progress; conditionally powerful and must be upgraded to reach MCVIII.
• MCVI — Mark Calamity 6
> Pre-endgame weapons obtained through crafting or looting; strong and reliable with moderate abilities.
• MCV — Mark Calamity 5
> Mid-game weapons with basic abilities; accessible through crafting and balanced in performance.
• MCIV — Mark Calamity 4
> Mid-game weapons with high damage but minimal or no abilities; focused on raw output.
• MCIII — Mark Calamity 3
> Pre-midgame weapons with moderate damage and no abilities; fully craftable progression tools.
• MCII — Mark Calamity 2
> Improved early-game weapons evolved from MCI; slight stat upgrades with minimal effectiveness.
• MCI — Mark Calamity 1
> Base vanilla weapons; no enhancements or special mechanics.
- Added a "Cannot Crit" red text warning and "Can Pierce" blue text reminder at the description of weapons that uses the spear's piercing mechanic, all S.K.A. weapons have this.
- Added custom new sounds upon hitting an entity corresponding to the abilities of these semi-longsword and greatsword class weapons: Flame Kindler and Blight Greatsword.
XR's Maleficent Bestiary mobs are treated here as a DLC. Downloading it and combining it with this add-on will add new craftable content in survival mode, though the Maleficent Bestiary is optional and XR's Soulsborne Knights Armoury can still be played as a standalone add-on.
