Sols Apocalypse turns survival into an escalating zombie outbreak with sun-powered infected, hordes, infection, defenses, and bosses.

Sols Apocalypse is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that turns a normal survival world into a progressive zombie apocalypse. The world starts manageable, then gets worse day by day with stronger zombie variants, horde events, infection risk, survival loot, defensive items, and late-game boss pressure.
This is not just a simple “more zombies” pack. Sols Apocalypse is built around a full survival loop: prepare, scavenge, defend, cure infection, survive horde events, and keep fighting as the outbreak escalates.
Main Features
Progressive Apocalypse Stages
The outbreak progresses through stages as the world survives more days.
Stage 0: Outbreak Warning - mostly normal survival with early danger.
Stage 1: Early Infection - infected zombies begin appearing.
Stage 2: Spreading Infection - runners and armored infected become a bigger threat.
Stage 3: Collapse - horde events, brutes, spitters, and larger groups begin.
Stage 4: Full Apocalypse - stalkers, stronger hordes, nests, and worse infection pressure.
Stage 5: Mutation Wave - mutated zombies and alpha zombies appear more often.
Stage 6: Endgame Apocalypse - high zombie density, frequent events, and the Apocalypse Host.
The apocalypse stage is world-level and persists after reloads.
Sun Strength / Moon Weakness System
Sols Apocalypse has a unique rule: zombies are stronger in the sun and weaker under the moon.
During the day, Sols Apocalypse zombies become faster, stronger, more aggressive, and more dangerous. At night, they are weakened, giving players a strange window of relief.
However, events override this rule. During Horde Night, Infection Surge, Toxic Fog, Nest Growth, Blood Sun, Screamer Alert, Boss Events, and other apocalypse events, zombies keep their sun-strength power even at night.
That means event nights are still terrifying.
Zombie Variants
Every zombie variant uses normal zombie-style movement and animation while being changed through texture, stats, equipment, drops, and scripted behavior.

Infected Zombie
Runner Zombie
Armored Zombie
Brute Zombie
Spitter Zombie
Stalker Zombie
Horde Zombie
Mutated Zombie
Alpha Zombie
Apocalypse Host
Each variant has its own role, identity, texture style, loot, and stage-based purpose.
Horde Events
Horde events are staged survival attacks that scale with the apocalypse stage. They announce warnings, spawn timed waves, and keep event zombies at sun-strength until the horde ends.
Example horde flow:
Wave 1: infected and horde zombies
Wave 2: runners and horde pressure
Wave 3: armored zombies and brutes
Wave 4: spitters and stalkers
Final wave: alpha or mutated threats when the stage allows it
Hordes have caps and cleanup logic to avoid infinite spawning.
Infection System
Zombie hits can infect players. Infection is per-player and progresses through stages, giving warnings and symptoms as it gets worse.
Possible symptoms include:

Cures are designed to make infection dangerous but not unfair.

These items help players build shelters, survive events, distract infected, and manage infection risk.

apocalypse stage is world-level

Performance Notes
The addon is designed to be intense without using infinite spawning or heavy particle spam.
Performance protections include:
capped horde waves
event cleanup
limited particle usage
no custom oversized zombie rigs
no infinite event loops
no permanent event mobs left behind intentionally
Compatibility
Built for Minecraft Bedrock 26.20.
Because this addon uses scripts, make sure the required experimental / beta API settings are enabled if your Minecraft version requires them.
