Solarsystem

Build a rocket and explore all 8 worlds of the Solar System.

๐Ÿš€ SOLAR SYSTEM — Fly to All 8 Worlds

Build a rocket. Pick a world. Leave Earth behind.

Minecraft has three dimensions. This addon gives you eight more — the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, each generated from real planetary character: the right ground, the right sky, the right way to die.

You don't get there by portal. You build a rocket, ride it, choose a destination, and sit through a ten-second countdown while the engines spin up. Then the screen fades to black, and when it opens again you are descending through the atmosphere of another world.

Bring a suit. Most of these places will kill you without one.

My community for all my Minecraft projects. Bugs, ideas, screenshots, questions — post anything and I'll reply. A lot of what ends up in my addons started as someone's comment.

๐Ÿ›  THE ROCKET

A three-block-tall ship you craft, place on the ground, and ride. There is no steering — this is about where you go, not how you fly.

. P . P = Lightning Rod
G I G G = Glass · I = Block of Iron
D L D D = Diamond · L = Lava Bucket

The rocket is permanent. It never despawns, and stray mob attacks can't destroy it — only you can break it, and when you do it drops straight back into your inventory.

Launch Sequence

  1. Ride the rocket — the navigation panel opens
  2. Choose a destination — eight worlds, or Earth to go home
  3. Ten seconds. The countdown runs green, then yellow, then red. Step off at any point and the launch cancels.
  4. Zero. Engines fire, the ground shakes, the rocket climbs.
  5. The screen fades. You come back down somewhere else entirely.
  6. Touchdown — and only now can you leave the rocket. Mid-flight, the ship won't let you out.

Want to move on? Ride it again and pick somewhere else. It's waiting where you landed.

๐Ÿช THE EIGHT WORLDS

World Ground What Will Kill You Gravity
๐ŸŒ‘ The Moon Grey regolith over deepslate, cratered Vacuum Low
โ˜ฟ Mercury Scorched grey rock, heavily cratered Extreme heat, vacuum Low
โ™€ Venus Orange terracotta, lava pools, netherrack below Heat that burns you alive Normal
โ™‚ Mars Red sand and sandstone, iron-rich Vacuum Low
โ™ƒ Jupiter Banded cloud decks with open sky between them Violent winds, long falls Normal
โ™„ Saturn Pale gold cloud decks Winds, long falls Low
โ™… Uranus Ice and packed ice Freezing Normal
โ™† Neptune Deep blue ice, darkest of them all Deep freeze Normal

โ˜ The Gas Giants Are Not Solid

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune have no ground. What they have are cloud decks — floating platforms with real gaps between them, stacked two or three layers deep.

You land on the top deck and walk it like a bridge that someone forgot to finish. Miss a jump and you drop to the deck below. Miss that one too and you keep going.

Jupiter and Saturn throw you around on top of it. The winds don't care what you're wearing.

๐ŸŒซ Every Sky Is Different

Fog is generated per world, and it changes how the place feels more than anything else:

  • The Moon and Mercury — almost no atmosphere. The horizon is black and you can see forever.
  • Venus — choking yellow sulphur. You can see about forty blocks. The lava finds you before you find it.
  • Mars — red dust haze.
  • Jupiter and Saturn — orange and gold cloud banks rolling past.
  • Uranus — pale frozen turquoise.
  • Neptune — the darkest, deepest blue in the addon. You will want a torch.

The thick worlds use volumetric fog, so it isn't just a wall of colour in the distance — the air itself has weight to it. On Venus and Neptune you feel like you're pushing through something.

๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿš€ THE ASTRONAUT SUIT

Space does not forgive being underdressed.

You Actually Look Like an Astronaut

This isn't a texture stretched over your skin. The suit is a full custom model — helmet, torso, both arms, both legs, boots. Put all four pieces on and your character disappears completely underneath it. Sealed visor, orange trim, control panel on the chest, oxygen tank on the back.

No skin shows through. Anywhere.

What Happens Without It

What you're wearing What happens
Full suit Heat and cold are blocked completely. You breathe.
Missing a piece Cold worlds freeze you. Hot worlds burn you.
No helmet You suffocate — on every world, no exceptions. The rest of the suit won't save you.

The chestplate takes two oxygen tanks — they sit on the shoulders, and they're where most of the cost goes.

Helmets, boots and spare tanks also turn up in space station chests, so your first suit doesn't have to be crafted.

๐Ÿ‘ฝ THE ALIENS

Every world has something living on it, and all of it wants you gone.

40 health. 6 damage a hit. Every alien, every world — these are not zombies you walk past.

World Alien
The Moon Lunar Drifter — pale grey, ice-blue eyes
Mercury Cinder Walker — charcoal, burning orange eyes · fireproof
Venus Sulfur Stalker — sulphur yellow · fireproof
Mars Red Sentinel — rust red
Jupiter Storm Herald — banded brown and amber
Saturn Ring Warden — pale gold
Uranus Ice Lurker — frozen turquoise
Neptune Abyss Hunter — deep blue, violet eyes

They spot you from nearly thirty blocks. Venus and Mercury's natives don't burn — fighting them beside a lava pool is a fight you lose.

All of them drop iron, amethyst, gold and redstone, and sometimes a diamond.

๐Ÿ›ฐ SPACE STATIONS

Scattered rarely across every world are sealed iron modules with glass observation windows and sea lanterns in the ceiling. Roughly one per fifty chunks — you will walk a long way between them.

Inside each one is a chest worth the walk:

Iron · Glass · Gold · Redstone · Amethyst · Diamond · Lanterns · Compasses · Clocks · Echo Shards · Netherite Scrap · Ancient Debris

Plus astronaut gear — a helmet, boots, a spare oxygen tank.

And very rarely, a second rocket. If you ever strand yourself on Neptune with a broken ship, that chest is the reason you get home.

โš ๏ธ REQUIREMENTS

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.80+
  • Experimental Gameplay: Beta APIs must be enabled in world settings — required, the planets will not load without it
  • Works in Survival, Creative and Multiplayer

๐ŸŽฎ TIPS

  • All four pieces or nothing. Three out of four still leaves you freezing or burning — the suit only protects as a complete set.
  • Craft the full suit before your first launch. The Moon is survivable; Venus is not.
  • The helmet is non-negotiable. Everything else is comfort — without the helmet you suffocate anywhere off Earth.
  • On gas giants, look before you jump. The decks have real holes and there is a long way down.
  • Low gravity is a tool. On the Moon, Mercury, Mars and Saturn you jump far enough to cross gaps that look impossible.
  • Mercury and Venus aliens are fireproof. You're the only one who burns.
  • Park your rocket somewhere you'll find it. Neptune's fog is thick and the ship doesn't glow.
  • Loot every station you find. They're the only place a spare rocket turns up.
  • Going home is always an option. Ride the rocket, pick Earth, and you come down exactly where you launched from.

Eight worlds. One rocket. Bring oxygen.
