Something watches you from the treeline for days — then it stops watching (:

entity410

Something has been watching you since the moment you installed this.

entity410 is a psychological horror addon for Minecraft Bedrock.

There is nothing to craft. No menu. No instructions. You install it, you start a world, and you play normally — and after a few minutes, you begin to notice things.

It starts small. A figure at the treeline that is gone when you look again. A sound behind you. Something in your base that you are fairly sure you did not leave that way.

It does not stay small.

And somewhere between your fifth and eighth day — a different day for every player — it stops watching you.

What it looks like

Over three blocks tall. Thin to the point of wrongness — long spindly limbs that hang past its knees, a narrow black body, and a pale skull of a face with hollow sockets and two small points of light inside them.

In the dark, the light is all you see. Until it opens its mouth.

Features

  • 17 different scare events that escalate the longer you play
  • A real, fightable boss that grows larger and stronger every time you defeat it
  • One craftable defense — use it wisely, you only get one use per charm
  • Fully custom audio, synthesized specifically for this addon
  • It uses details from your own world against you
  • Built for multiplayer: your friends will not always see what you see
  • Difficulty presets: calm / normal / nightmare
  • No experiments required. Your achievements stay enabled.

Setup

Enable both packs on your world: the behavior pack and the resource pack. Without the resource pack, the entity appears as a missing-texture box.

Configuration

Everything is adjustable at the top of BP/scripts/main.js — difficulty, frequency, and you can disable any individual feature, including the forced encounter and anything that modifies your world.

⚠️ SPOILERS BELOW ⚠️

Everything past this point describes things that are meant to surprise you.

If you plan to play this addon yourself, stop reading here.

What actually happens

It reads your world

  • The figure watching you from 50 blocks out has your username floating above it. On a server, it wears your friend's name instead.
  • Notes appear in your chests — real paper items: the coordinates of your bed, how many times you have died, the name of your pet, how many days you have survived.
  • A player joins the game. The name is almost yours. One character is wrong. A few minutes later, they leave.
  • You get a private message from your friend. "look behind you." "i will kill you." They will swear they never sent it.
  • An item in your inventory has a name now. You did not name it. It says "i held this."
  • Signs appear where you spend the most time — not random creepypasta text. Your name. Your bed coordinates. How many days you have left.
  • It builds. A doorway standing alone in an empty field. A grave with your name on it.
  • Things are wrong. Your torches burn blue. Trapdoors are open. Doors you closed are not.
  • You hear someone. Digging, twenty blocks behind you. Footsteps. Nothing is there.
  • Sleep is not safe. Sometimes you wake up and it is standing at the foot of your bed.

When it is nearby but out of sight, you will hear your own heartbeat. It gets faster the closer it is. It stops the moment you find it.

Every event you witness feeds a hidden dread counter. The more you see, the more often it happens. It does not let you get comfortable.

On a server, it is worse

It only shows itself to one of you. If anyone else looks in its direction, it is gone before they turn their head. You will describe it. They will not believe you.

The Ward of 410

One recipe. Four gold ingots, four amethyst shards, an eye of ender.

Use it in the open and you get five minutes of complete silence. Use it during the fight and it drives the thing off — but only until tomorrow. Either way, the charm is spent.

It does not save you. It buys time.

Then it stops watching

The heartbeat starts. The world goes dark. Then it arrives — four blocks tall, and its skin will not hold still: black and grey, cycling between four faces twelve times a second, none of them staying long enough to look at properly.

It is a real fight. 30 hearts. It hits for 4. It runs at you, and it does not stop. Drop it below a third of its health and it grows again — over five blocks tall, and faster.

You can kill it. That is the point — and it is also the trap, because killing it does not end anything. It returns five days later, stronger, and stronger again every time you win: more health, more damage, faster, larger, its face locked into a permanent scream, and eventually it starts teleporting behind you mid-fight.

Run, and it retreats. Then it comes back the next day.

And if it kills you

That is the end. Not a respawn — an ending.

The screen goes black. It tells you it is finished. You are thrown out of the world.

Log back in and nothing happens. No figure at the treeline. No sounds. No notes. It is as though the addon was never installed.

Only the signs are still there. And the grave with your name on it.
