Simple RPG Addon is designed to expand Minecraft's progression while staying true to the vanilla experience. Instead of replacing survival, it enhances it with meaningful progression, character development, RPG abilities, custom items, and an intuitive in-game RPG Guide Book that helps you throughout your adventure.

📖 RPG Guide Book

The RPG Guide Book is the heart of the addon and your primary way of accessing every RPG feature. It is automatically given to every player when they join the world, so you can start your adventure immediately without crafting or using commands.

Using Minecraft's familiar vanilla interface, the Guide Book provides quick and easy access to your RPG progression while keeping the experience intuitive for both new and experienced players.

Whether you want to upgrade your character, spend your Souls, view your stats, or cast powerful Mage spells, everything can be accessed from one convenient place.

Exclusive to the Mage class, the Spell Book lets you quickly select and switch between available spells, allowing you to adapt your magical abilities to different combat situations.

💡 Tip: Keep your RPG Guide Book in your inventory. You'll use it frequently throughout your adventure to access your progression, manage abilities, purchase upgrades, and customize your character.

📈 How to Level Up

Leveling up is one of the core progression systems in Simple RPG Addon. As you explore your world and defeat enemies, you'll gradually become stronger and unlock access to powerful new abilities.

Unlike vanilla Minecraft, leveling up requires both Minecraft Experience (XP) and Souls. Having enough XP alone isn't enough---you must also collect the required number of Souls by defeating hostile mobs.

Once you have enough XP and Souls, the RPG HUD will automatically notify you that you're ready to level up.

Simply:

1. Open the RPG Book.
2. Select Level Up.
3. Spend the required XP and Souls.
4. Receive your level rewards and continue your adventure.

🎁 Level Rewards

Every time you level up, you'll receive rewards to help you on your journey, including:

• ⭐ Perk Points to unlock new Skill Tree abilities.
• 📦 Useful vanilla Minecraft items.
• ✨ Temporary status effects to aid your adventure.

As your level increases, you'll unlock stronger builds and gain access to more powerful upgrades through your class's Skill Tree.

⚔️ Current Level Cap: Level 20

Reach Level 19 to unlock a challenging Boss Fight, where your progression and skills will truly be put to the test.

💎 Souls System

Souls are the primary currency in Simple RPG Addon and are essential for your progression. Every hostile mob you defeat rewards you with Souls, encouraging players to actively explore, fight, and survive instead of relying solely on traditional XP farms.

While most common hostile mobs reward a small number of Souls, stronger and more dangerous enemies provide significantly greater rewards. The tougher the challenge, the greater the reward.

💰 What are Souls used for?

Souls play an important role throughout your adventure and are required for:

• 📈 Leveling Up
• 🌳 Unlocking powerful Skill Tree abilities
• 🛒 Purchasing unlocked Active & Passive Skills from the Soul Shop

Unlike normal Minecraft progression, Experience alone is not enough. To become stronger, you'll need to earn both Experience and Souls, making combat and exploration a key part of your journey.

💡 Tip: Save your Souls wisely! As you progress through the game, stronger skills become more expensive, so managing your Souls is just as important as earning them.

📝 Note: If the required XP for leveling feels high, that's intentional. Many modern Minecraft XP farms can generate hundreds of XP levels in just a few minutes. The progression system is balanced around these farms to provide a more rewarding long-term RPG experience.

🌳 Skill Tree & Soul Shop

Every RPG class features its own unique Skill Tree, allowing you to customize your character and create your own playstyle. As you level up, you'll earn Perk Points that can be spent to unlock new abilities.

Unlocking a skill is a two-step progression system designed to make every upgrade feel rewarding.

🔓 Step 1 --- Unlock the Skill

Open the Skill Tree from the RPG Book and spend your earned Perk Points to unlock the abilities you want.

Each class offers multiple progression paths, allowing you to specialize your character instead of unlocking everything at once.

💎 Step 2 --- Purchase the Skill

Unlocking a skill only makes it available.

To actually use it, you'll need to visit the Soul Shop and purchase the unlocked ability using Souls collected from defeating hostile mobs.

This system gives Souls an important purpose and encourages players to explore, fight, and carefully plan their progression.

⚔️ Build Your Own Playstyle

Each RPG class contains 13 unique Active and Passive Skills.

Because Perk Points are limited, every choice matters. Different players can create completely different builds even when playing the same class.

💡 Tip: Spend your Perk Points carefully! Every decision shapes your character's progression.

📝 Current Progression Note: At the current maximum level (Level 20), you'll earn enough Perk Points to unlock most, but not all, skills in a Skill Tree. One or two abilities may remain locked. Additional Perk Points and higher progression are planned in future updates, allowing players to fully complete their Skill Trees.

⚙️ Active & Passive Skills

Every unlocked ability gives you more control over your character. Whether you prefer powerful passive bonuses or unique active abilities, you can customize your playstyle at any time.

🛡️ Passive Skills

After purchasing a Passive Skill from the Soul Shop, it will appear in the Passive Skills menu.

From there, you can enable or disable any unlocked Passive Skill whenever you like with a single click.

• ✅ Click once to disable the skill.
• ✅ Click again to enable it.
• 💬 A chat message will confirm whether the skill has been enabled or disabled.

This allows you to freely switch abilities depending on your current situation without permanently losing your progression.

⚔️ Active Skills

Unlike Passive Skills, Active Skills must be equipped before they can be used.

You can equip one Active Skill at a time, allowing you to quickly switch between different combat abilities depending on your strategy.

🎮 Play Your Way

Not every ability suits every player or every situation. If you don't want to use a particular Passive Skill, simply disable it and enable it again whenever you need it.

This flexible system gives you complete control over your character and lets you experiment with different builds throughout your adventure.

⚙️ Commands

Simple RPG Addon includes a few optional commands that allow you to customize certain gameplay features without affecting your progression.

🔒 Lock / Unlock RPG Items

These commands let you lock or unlock all RPG items, including the RPG Book, Ranger Bow, and Mage Staff.

Prevents RPG items from being accidentally moved or dropped.

🔓 Unlock Items

Removes the item lock, allowing RPG items to be moved freely again.

💥 Ability Block Destruction

Some abilities can destroy blocks during combat. These commands allow you to enable or disable that behavior at any time.

Allows abilities to damage and destroy blocks.

❌ Disable Block Destruction

/scriptevent rpg:destroy_off

Prevents abilities from breaking blocks, making them safer to use around buildings and player-made structures.

💡 Tip: If you're playing in a survival world or on a multiplayer server, disabling block destruction can help prevent accidental terrain damage.

🪄 Mage Spell Book

The Mage class has access to a dedicated Spell Book, allowing players to unlock, purchase, equip, and switch between powerful magical abilities.

Unlike other classes, the Mage can freely change its equipped spell at any time, making it easy to adapt to different combat situations.

📖 Unlock & Equip Spells

Getting a new spell is simple:

1. 🌳 Unlock the spell in the Skill Tree using Perk Points.
2. 💎 Purchase the unlocked spell from the Spell Book using Souls.
3. 🪄 Equip the spell and start casting.

Only one spell can be equipped at a time, but you can switch between your unlocked spells whenever you want through the Spell Book.

⚡ Spell Upgrades

Some spells can be upgraded by unlocking specific Passive Skills in the Mage's Skill Tree.

These upgrades make your spells even more powerful, but to keep combat balanced, upgraded spells gain a short cooldown after being cast.

⚠️ Experimental Features

Simple RPG Addon requires Minecraft Experimental Features to function correctly.

Before creating or loading a world, make sure all the required Experimental Features are enabled. Without them, important systems such as Skill Trees, RPG progression, abilities, custom UI, and other scripted features may not work correctly.

🔄 Updating the Addon ( only for those who has very old version

of this addon )

To avoid unexpected issues or conflicts, it is strongly recommended only for who has very old version of my addon to completely remove the previous version of Simple RPG Addon before importing a newer version.

📥 How to Update

1. Open Minecraft.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Storage.
4. Select Resource Packs and delete Simple RPG Addon.
5. Select Behavior Packs and delete Simple RPG Addon.
6. Import the latest version of the addon.
7. Re-enable both packs in your world.

⚠️ Important: Updating without removing the previous version may cause missing textures, outdated files, or unexpected issues. For the best experience, always perform a clean update.

#Not recommened for all players.
