- 3x3x1 Mode: Breaks wooden blocks in a 3x3x1 area depending on the face you break.
- Tree Capitator Mode: Cuts down whole trees with a maximum log limit per use:

• Stone Lumberjack Axe (238 durability — Max 12 logs)
• Copper Lumberjack Axe (303 durability— Max 24 logs)
• Golden Lumberjack Axe (110 durability— Max 76 logs)
• Iron Lumberjack Axe (451 durability— Max 54 logs)
• Diamond Lumberjack Axe (1872 durability— Max 192 logs)
• Netherite Lumberjack Axe (2437 durability— Max 384 logs)

Why Log Limits? (Tree Capitator Balance)

To keep the gameplay fair and balanced, each Lumberjack Axe has a limit on how many logs it can break in a single Tree Capitator cut.

Without limits, early-game tools like stone axes could easily fell massive jungle trees or giant spruces instantly, completely trivializing timber collection right at the start.

This system ensures progress feels rewarding:

• Lower Tiers (Stone & Copper): Designed for small to medium trees (Oak, Birch, Acacia). Great for early survival without trivializing gathering.
• Mid Tiers (Iron & Gold): Easily handle standard 2x2 trees like Dark Oak and large spruces in a single hit.
• High Tiers (Diamond & Netherite): Built for giant mega-trees in Jungles and Taigas, clearing massive amounts of wood effortlessly.

If a tree exceeds an axe's limit, the remaining logs stay floating so you can chop them down with a second swing—ensuring you never lose tool durability unnecessarily while encouraging upgrading as you advance.

Enchantments

Lumberjack Axes are functional with all vanilla axe enchantments.

Unbreaking

Breaking a 3x3x1 area will check block by block if Unbreaking enchantment is applied. This means that a normal lumberjack axe spends 9 durability points when breaking a complete 3x3x1 area. By having this enchantment, breaking the same area would spend 4 durability points (randomly).

(Durability loss depends on how many blocks are chopped in the 3x3x1 area)
