What's new

ShopNWork 1.1.3

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.130 or newer.

Travel Station

Mayors buy a Travel Station from the village Buildings menu for 600 coins. The purchase puts a Travel Station Spawner in your inventory. Place that block yourself near the village, the same way you place a barracks. The station is built from that corner using the 10×6×7 station structure. The two menu blocks show a blue T.

  • Right-click a menu block to travel.
  • You can only travel between villages owned by the same mayor.
  • Tyrant-occupied villages stay hidden and their stations stay locked.
  • The mayor sets the arrival fee on the station. The default is 25 coins.
  • The mayor travels free. Other players pay the destination fee into that village's treasury.
  • Destinations are listed from saved coordinates, even when those village chunks are not loaded.
  • A station is tied to the village that owns it, not simply the nearest landmark.
  • If a built station is missing, the mayor can take another spawner from the Buildings menu for free.

Wandering tyrant patrols

Separate from village occupiers. Groups appear in already loaded terrain around you, not only in fresh chunks.

  • A group is one Viking chief plus 2–4 guards. They walk together.
  • The chief wears a horned iron helmet, a beard, and a fur cloak, and fights with an iron axe. He does not look like the suited tyrant who occupies villages.
  • When they see you, they walk up. The chief demands 10 coins.
  • Paying buys 3 in-game days of peace from that group only. Every other group still demands its own payment.
  • Refusing, or not having the coins, makes that group attack. Other groups are not included.
  • A defeated group drops 50 coins.
  • If two groups meet, they fight each other.
  • Up to two groups can be near you at once.
  • A spawn check runs about every 8 seconds. The chance is 49 percent, about 35 percent lower than the earlier frequent rate.
  • Within about 32 blocks, each tyrant shows a health bar above their head. There is no permanent bar at the top of the screen. Walk away and the bar disappears; the name stays.

Villages

Villages are found a bit more often while exploring. The scan runs every 5.5 seconds out to 112 blocks. A found vanilla village is still always taken over. New villages may sit 40 blocks apart. 90 percent of newly discovered villages still start occupied by a tyrant.

Village occupiers are unchanged from 1.1.2: the suited tyrant mayor, 2–8 guards (rarely up to 15), peaceful until attacked, per-village aggro, 300-coin ransom or a full clear for 100 coins and 80 reputation, then double merchant pay for 2 in-game days. They use the same overhead health bar as the patrols.
