Description
ShopNWork – Build Your Own Economy in Minecraft Bedrock
ShopNWork turns your Bedrock world into a living player economy: its own currency, a shop you run yourself, a village that visibly grows through the community's work – and now a defense system to protect what you've built. No money cheat, no simple shop-plugin replacement, but a complete economy system that's built, operated, and experienced right inside the game.
🎮 Works great solo, too
ShopNWork isn't just for servers – everything runs locally through the behavior pack, no external server or plugin host required. Start a singleplayer world, grab a purse, and build your own shop and village economy entirely on your own, at your own pace.
💰 Real money between real players
Every player carries a purse that stores its balance directly on the item. Deposit or withdraw coins through a simple menu, or right-click another player while holding your purse to send coins directly, purse to purse – no bank or middleman required.
🛒 Your own shop – cash register, sales counter, and checkout belt
Set up your own market stall in seconds with the sales counter: place goods, set quantity and price, done – owner protection keeps your offer safe. The checkout belt totals up a customer's whole selection automatically, even across multiple sellers, while the cash register tracks your balance. ExTel terminals exchange raw materials like coal, wood, wheat, and apples for coins at rates that shift regularly, and the dedicated ExTel Recycling terminal – found in every village – turns leftover cobblestone, dirt, gravel, sand, and more into coins too.
🏘️ A village that grows with you
Near every village, trader NPCs settle in with their own workbench and tasks – from simple daily requests to long-term commissions. Deliver goods and earn coins plus reputation points. Enough reputation makes you mayor, with perks on future deliveries. The village treasury fills with every delivery, and once it's full, the village grows on its own: new houses, a well, a market stall, even churches and vending machines appear in open spots, with a village landmark marking the shared project's center. The rocket clock can even fire off fireworks automatically at a set time.
🛡️ New: Village Defense
Your village can now defend itself. Once your village has enough reputation, the mayor can purchase a barracks landmark – a dedicated garrison building, built once per village. From its terminal, recruit soldier NPCs (up to 20 per village) in full iron armor, who patrol and fight off monsters automatically. Their patrol radius grows on its own as the village expands.
Need backup on a specific target? The new target marker item lets you mark any mob or player with a right-click – a crosshair particle shows the mark, and nearby soldiers will prioritize marked targets over anything else, some charging in immediately to engage.

Beyond the garrison, a hunter NPC also spawns near villages, offering a fishing quest with a coin reward for anyone willing to help out.
🚀 And this is just the beginning
ShopNWork is being actively developed further – more vending machines, more expansion stages for the village and its NPCs, and several more ideas already in the works. If you want to be there from the start and help shape it, you're warmly invited to test the addon and leave feedback, bug reports, or ideas!
