Server Admin Pack

Ranks, homes, warps, teleport requests, polls, AFK, playtime and welcome messages for your Bedrock server, set up in game.

Server Admin Pack

Ranks, homes, warps, teleport requests, polls, AFK, playtime and welcome messages for a Bedrock server, in one add-on. Everything is set up in game by an operator, nothing needs editing on disk, and it works with no experiments turned on.

What it does

  • Ranks. /setrank gives a player a rank, shown as a prefix on the name above their head. Works for offline players who have joined before. /ranks lists them.
  • Homes and warps. /sethome, /home, /homes, /delhome for players; /setwarp, /warp, /delwarp and /setspawn, /spawn for the server.
  • Teleport requests. /tpa and /tpahere ask, /tpaccept and /tpdeny answer. Requests time out on their own.
  • Polls. /poll "Question" "Yes,No" 60 starts a timed poll, /vote answers it, /pollend closes it early. Votes survive a restart.
  • AFK and playtime. /afk marks you away and moving clears it. /playtime and /playtimetop show time played.
  • Welcome messages. A first-join message to the new player and a broadcast to everyone else, with your own text.
  • Announcements. /announce sends a message to everyone now.
  • Settings in game. /adminpack opens the settings form for operators. /commands lists what you can use, and hides operator commands from everyone else.

How it is built

Script API only: @minecraft/server 2.11.0 and @minecraft/server-ui 2.3.0, both stable. Commands are real slash commands, so they show in the chat's command list. Data is stored in the world, so it comes with the world when you move it, and nothing is written outside the game.

Tested

On the official Bedrock Dedicated Server, in a world with no experiments and cheats off: 112 automated checks passed, covering every command, ranks given to online and offline players, teleports, polls, playtime, the welcome messages, permission checks for non-operators, and that settings, player data and poll votes are still there after a restart and after /reload. The checks used scripted clients, not a phone or console, so the forms were not looked at on a real screen.

Install: open the .mcaddon, then add the behaviour pack to your world or put it in your server's behavior_packs folder and list it in world_behavior_packs.json. Needs Minecraft 1.26.60 or newer. Licence: MIT.

Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Need something custom? I build small server plugins to order from $15 (fixes) and $29 (a new one-feature plugin): actuallyop.com/services. More free tools: actuallyop.com.
