RR Zombie Life Addon

​Whats up guys Racing Raftaar here again. Today i am bringing you a completely new and crazy addon for your minecraft survival worlds. We always play minecraft as a human survivor right. You spawn in, you chop wood, you build a house, and then you hide inside when the night comes because the monsters are going to kill you. I have been playing like this for years and it honestly got a bit boring for me. So i decided to completely flip the game upside down. What if you are the monster? What if the humans and villagers have to hide from you? That is exactly why I made the RR Zombie Life addon. This addon forces you to play the game as an actual zombie and it completely changes your entire survival experience.

​Surviving The Daylight

​So when you first load into the world with this addon, you are no longer a normal player. You automatically get infected and become a zombie. The game will give you a welcome message telling you to hide. Because you are a zombie now, the sun is your biggest enemy. If you walk out into the open daylight and the sky is directly above you, you will literally start burning and taking damage just like real zombies do in vanilla minecraft. A big warning message will pop up telling you that sunlight burns and you need to find cover before you turn to ash.

​Not only that, but during the daytime even if you are hiding in a cave or under a tree, you will constantly have weakness and slowness effects applied to you. You are super weak when the sun is out. You basically have to spend your days mining deep underground or hiding in your base waiting for the sun to go down. It makes the daytime feel super scary and you have to plan your movements very carefully so you dont burn to death.

​Hunting In The Night

​But when the sun finally sets and night time comes, everything changes. The weakness and slowness completely disappear. Instead you automatically get permanent Night Vision and Speed effects. The dark is your true home now. You can run super fast across the plains and hunt down your targets. You dont even need torches anymore because your zombie eyes can see perfectly in the dark. It feels so powerful when the clock hits night time and you just sprint out of your cave ready to destroy everything.

​Custom Zombie Abilities

​I didn't just stop at making you burn in the sun. I gave you actual zombie superpowers. When you spawn, the game automatically gives you two starter items in your inventory. First is a Carrot on a Stick, and the second is 8 pieces of Rotten Flesh.

​The Carrot on a Stick is your Zombie Roar ability. If you use it, you let out a terrifying zombie roar that players around you can hear. It has a 25 second cooldown, but when you use it, you get a massive boost of Strength and Speed for 7 seconds. It is your ultimate hunting ability. If you see a player or a tough mob, you just roar and sprint at them dealing crazy damage.

​The Rotten Flesh is your new healing item. Normal food is boring. If you use the rotten flesh, it gives you a Regeneration effect for 5 seconds to heal your undead body. It only has a 3 second cooldown so you can keep munching on zombie meat to survive tough fights.

​Infecting The Villagers

​This is probably my favorite feature in the entire addon. Since you are a zombie, you want to spread the virus right? If you find a village and start attacking the villagers, you actually have a 25 percent chance to infect them on every hit. If the infection works, the normal villager will instantly die and a Zombie Villager will spawn in its place. A green message will pop up saying infection successful. You can literally walk into a village and turn the entire population into your own personal zombie army. It is so much fun to do this on multiplayer realms and watch your friends panic.

​How To Apply In Minecraft

​Installing this addon is super simple and easy. Just download the addon file from the link below. Once you have it, just click on the file and it will automatically open minecraft and import itself. Then you just go to your world settings, scroll down to the Behavior Packs section, and activate the RR Zombie Life addon. That is literally it. There are no complicated resource packs needed for this one. Just apply it to your world and start playing.

​Beta APIs Setup

​You guys already know the drill by now. Because this addon uses advanced background scripts to constantly check if you are standing under the sky and handles the custom cooldowns for your zombie abilities, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings. If you dont toggle this on before you load the world, the scripts will not run at all and you will just be a normal boring human player. So please make sure you check that box.
