RR Health HUD v2.0.0 - The Ultimate RPG Combat Interface
Hey everyone! Fighting mobs in vanilla Minecraft has always involved a massive amount of guessing. You swing your sword at a Creeper, but you never actually know how close it is to dying before it suddenly explodes and destroys your base. You shoot an arrow at another player, but you have no idea if you dealt massive damage or if their armor absorbed it all. Vanilla combat is completely blind, and it can be incredibly frustrating when you are trying to test out new enchantments or weapons.
I decided to completely overhaul the combat system and bring a true RPG experience to Bedrock Edition. I created the RR Health HUD Addon. This highly advanced script displays real-time, dynamic health information for absolutely every single entity you look at. You can see exact HP numbers, watch floating damage text fly off your enemies, and track your entire combat career in a clean, professional interface. For Version 2.0.0, I have completely rewritten the core engine. This is the Full Access Edition, meaning every single premium tracking feature, boss health bar, and combat milestone is fully unlocked for you right from the start!
Advanced Real-Time Health Bars
The core of this addon is the highly responsive, zero-lag health bar system. You do not need to hit an enemy to see their health; simply look directly at any mob within a massive 25-block range, and their dynamic health bar will instantly appear cleanly on your screen. This is an absolute game-changer for players who love using Bows and Crossbows, as you can now snipe targets and measure their health from a safe distance.
To make the combat incredibly easy to read during fast-paced situations, the visual 10-segment bar uses a smart color-coding system:
- Green Bar: The mob is healthy and has plenty of HP remaining.
- Yellow Bar: The mob has taken moderate damage and is severely hurt.
- Red Bar (Critical): The mob is almost dead. This is your signal to go in for the final strike before they can attack you!
Smart Mob Detection & Custom Tags
When you are in the middle of a chaotic Pillager Raid or a massive cave battle, it is easy to accidentally hit your own pets or friendly Iron Golems. The RR Health HUD features an intelligent scanning system that categorizes every single entity you look at and applies a specific visual icon and tag.
- Hostile Tag: Instantly identifies dangerous monsters like Zombies, Skeletons, and Creepers with a skull icon.
- Boss Tag: Fully supports massive endgame bosses like the Wither and the Ender Dragon, giving you accurate readings on their massive health pools.
- Passive & Friendly Tags: Safely identifies farm animals (Cows, Pigs) and village defenders so you know who not to hit.
- Pet Tag: Specifically identifies tamed animals like your pet Wolves or Cats, ensuring you never accidentally shoot your own dog with an arrow again.
Floating Damage Numbers & Hit Tracking
There is nothing more satisfying in an RPG game than landing a massive critical hit and seeing the numbers pop up. Every single time you strike a mob, bright floating text will appear showing exactly how much damage your weapon dealt. A screen flash provides instant visual feedback that your attack connected.
This completely changes how you play the game. You no longer have to guess which weapon is stronger. You can easily test your Sharpness V Diamond Sword against a Smite V Axe to see the exact mathematical difference in damage output. The system actively tracks your Total Hits, calculates your Average Damage per hit, and records the absolute Max Damage you have ever dealt in a single swing.
Kill Tracking, Milestones & Leaderboards
I wanted to turn your standard survival world into a competitive combat arena. This update introduces a massive background tracking system that records your entire combat career.
- Categorized Kill Counters: The addon silently tracks exactly how many Total Kills you have, and breaks it down into Hostile Kills, Passive Kills, and Boss Kills. Whenever you eliminate a target, a clean custom kill notification appears on your screen.
- Combat Milestones: As you fight, the game will celebrate your achievements. You will receive special on-screen alerts and celebratory sound effects when you reach 10 Kills, unlock the Hunter status at 50 Kills, achieve Legendary status at 100 Kills, and for every hundred kills you get after that.
- Live Multiplayer Leaderboard: If you play on a Realm, the Stats Menu features a live top 5 leaderboard. You can see exactly who the best fighter on the server is and view your own personal rank.
In-Game Customization & Admin Settings
Every player has different tastes. Some people love seeing damage numbers everywhere, while others prefer a more minimalist screen. You have absolute control over your HUD without ever needing to type a chat command.
I built two highly interactive custom GUI menus directly into the game:
- Combat Stats Panel: Hold a standard Book in your hand, Sneak (crouch), and Use the item (Right-Click or Long Press). This opens your personal profile, showing your leaderboards, hit stats, and the option to Reset your stats if you are starting a new season.
- Settings Panel: Hold a Name Tag, Sneak, and Use it to open the configuration menu. From here, you can individually toggle the Sound Effects, floating Damage Numbers, Kill Messages, Distance Indicators, and Milestone Alerts ON or OFF.

[ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT ]
This addon relies entirely on highly advanced custom Script APIs to track entity health, calculate weapon damage, and render the custom floating UI and menus. You MUST go to your World Settings > Experiments tab, and turn on Beta APIs before loading your world. If you do not enable this setting, the health bars will not appear and the addon will not work!
