This Addon Reworks Underused Enchantments and allows you to use (right-click) Enchanted Books and store their contents inside the Enchanting Table. By Sneaking Near the Enchanting Table, A Menu opens, allowing you to choose from all the enchantments you collected and apply them at the cost of Levels and lapis, a MUCH Higher Cost than the Anvil or Regular Enchanting.
IT'S COMPATIBLE WITH EVERYTHING (EXCEPT "NEO ELEMENTALS")/ NO EXPERIMENTS NEEDED
JUST APPLY IT AND PLAY IT
This addon was made from a Small Fragment of My "Neo Elementals" Addon. DO NOT INSTALL THIS ADDON WITH NEO ELEMENTALS (If you're using it) EVERYTHING HERE IS ALREADY THERE
THIS ADDON WILL NOT ADD ANY NEW "ENCHANTMENTS" IT JUST AIMS TO REWORK CURRENT UNDERUSED ONES
The Enchanting Menu
Sneaking near an Enchanting Table opens a Menu that displays all the Enchantments you've collected, so selecting the Enchantment opens another Menu that displays all the Levels of the Enchantment you've collected so Far and the LEVEL YOU HAVE TO BE in order to select it. Upon further selection, IT ONLY TAKES A THIRD OF THE REQUIRED LEVELS. So if Sharpness 1 requires 7 Levels, you will lose 2 Levels. Similar to Regular Enchanting. but a more Extreme example would be Sharpness 5 requiring 35 Levels and losing 11 Levels. To get these Enchantments will also require more Lapis. A level 1 Enchantment would be 4 Lapis, a Level 5 Enchantment is 18 Lapis
And before you think "Did he touch Men-" of course I touched Mending, it requires you to be Level 35, you'll lose 11 Levels and 18 Lapis just like a Level 5 Enchantment
Enchantment Buffs
These are all the Enchantments that are also current, reworked, and enhanced. Riptide Buff is Removed
Smite: Charge Smite by Killing Undead Monsters. The amount gained is based on the enchantment level. Use (Right Click) the Item to rain down pillars of light on monsters, the higher the Charge/Enchantment the greater the power. After using Smite, gain Smite Radiance for a brief period based on the Amount Charged. During this period, whenever you hit ANY mob, it creates a Pillar of Light dealing additional Damage
Smite's Role now is Burst Damage, in contrast to Sharpness, you get more Damage out in a shorter window with Smite than Sharpness
Bane of Arthropods: After killing an Arthropod, Use (Right Click) Fire's a projectile that spawns a web that slows and weakens mobs. Webs Detonate if mobs walk into them, the amount of Webs Spawned, and the Amount of webs you can hold in capacity is based on the Level of the Enchantment
Bane's Role is a ranged alternative between Sharpness and Smite, firing webs with Bane 5 can just clear an area and slow down Mobs
Projectile Protection: When hit by a Projectile, Marks all monsters within a Radius. Marked Targets take more damage. The Radius and Damage of Marked Targets is based on Enchantment Levels, Multiple Pieces of Armor Stack increasing this effect
Killing the Marked Target that Shot you gives Absorption for a Brief Period based off Enchantment Level
Blast Protection: Whenever you get hit by an Explosion for a Brief Period, Repel most Entities in a small Radius and Grants Resistance. The Amount of Resistance and Time is based on the Level. Multiple Armor pieces stack, and Higher Levels give higher amounts. (Killing Creepers also Trigger this effect that way your not intentionally griefing your world constantly)
Fire Protection: Requires you to invest in it for pay off but when you do it's pretty strong
With at least 4 Levels sets Entitys that attack you onfire and Applies Weakness the Amount of Each is based on Enchantment Levels.
This one is the most unremarkable after typing that out. but wait theres more to it i swear!
Due to this now applying Fire at Level 4 AND weakness, this would Render Fire Aspect Useless (Kinda) so i buffed Fire Aspect but only if you have on Fire Protection!
Fire Aspect: When you have 8 Levels of Fire Protection or Higher, and attack a Mob sets the other 2 Nearby Mobs on Fire for a Duration tied to Fire Protection Level and deals some Damage based on Fire Aspect and Fire Protection Levels
Fire Protection now has a defensive and an Offensive Role. You take Damage and Burn Enemies and weaken their next Melee Attacks, and if you're using Fire Aspect, you just burn everything basically
To clarify how these Armor enchantments calculate Power, using Fire Protection for Example, if i need 4 Levels of Fire Protection to set an attacker on Fire, that doesn't mean i need FIRE PROT 4 it means i need a collective of 4 Levels, meaning Fire Prot 1 on 4 Different Armor will still trigger this effect.
Piercing: deals additional damage to each Mob the arrow passes through. The more mobs it can pass through, the higher the damage the monster takes
