Description

Rare Drop Beacons makes valuable dropped items easy to spot before they disappear or get lost in the terrain.

Rare loot creates a colorful vertical beacon with a glowing core, magical ground ring, rising sparks, and a short sound. Different colors and heights make each rarity level recognizable from a distance without changing loot tables or drop chances.

Features

  • Highlights valuable dropped items with bright vertical beacons
  • Three visual tiers: cyan, violet, and gold
  • Increasing beacon heights of 12, 16, and 32 blocks
  • Glowing beam cores, ground rings, rising sparks, and rarity sounds
  • Supports rare vanilla loot such as Rabbit's Foot, Trident, Totem of Undying, Wither Skeleton Skull, Heavy Core, Elytra, and Nether Star
  • Restores beacons when dropped items are loaded again
  • Works in multiplayer
  • Compatible with Vibrant Visuals
  • Does not change loot tables, drop chances, item behavior, or combat balance

How to use

  1. Import the .mcaddon file into Minecraft Bedrock.
  2. Activate both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack in your world.
  3. Play normally. Supported rare items automatically receive a beacon while lying on the ground.
  4. Pick up the item to remove its beacon.

Notes

  • Rare items dropped manually by players are highlighted too.
  • Other add-ons can opt their custom items into one of the three rarity levels.
  • The add-on is visual only and does not create additional loot.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.0 or newer
  • No external dependencies required
