PYROWS MONEY SMP v1.0.1 - HOW TO USE IT
By Pyrow

THE IDEA
Four teams, one pile of money. Everybody starts a round with $100. Kill someone and you take cash off them. When the round runs out, the team that has the richest player on the server wins and gets potion buffs. Anyone sitting on $0 at that point gets banned until an admin lets them back in. Then everything resets and the teams get shuffled.

SETTING IT UP
1. Open the .mcaddon file and Minecraft imports both packs.
2. Add BOTH the behavior pack and the resource pack to your world. The resource pack draws the leaderboard on the right side of the screen, so without it you won't see it.
3. You need Minecraft 1.21.130 or newer.
4. Admin commands only work if you're an operator.
5. Round 1 starts by itself the first time the world loads. Nothing to switch on.

Every command starts with pyrow: so typing /pyrow: in chat lists them all.

COMMANDS FOR EVERYONE
/pyrow:money - shows your balance
/pyrow:pay <player> <amount> - sends some of your money to another player in the round (whole dollars only)
/pyrow:shop - opens the shop
/pyrow:tier - shows your own tier
/pyrow:tiers - lists everyone's tier
/pyrow:answer <number> - answers the Quick Math question during that event

If chat is still open when you try to open the shop, the menu waits a few seconds for you to close it. Just hit escape.

COMMANDS FOR ADMINS
/pyrow:admin - opens the admin menu (settings, players, bans, shop)
/pyrow:registertier - pick a player and set their tier
/pyrow:setmoney <player> <amount> - sets someone's balance
/pyrow:addmoney <player> <amount> - adds money, use a negative number to take it away
/pyrow:viewmoney <player> - shows someone's team and balance
/pyrow:startevent <event> - starts an event right now
/pyrow:endevent - ends the current event early
/pyrow:startminigame <name> - starts a minigame where you're standing
/pyrow:endminigame - ends the minigame with no winner

HOW A ROUND WORKS
Teams: New players land on whichever team has the fewest people (random if it's a tie). At the start of every round everyone gets reshuffled, so don't get attached to your team.

Kills: The killer takes $20 from the victim. If the victim only has $8, you get $8. You can't hit your own teammates at all.

Winning: When the timer hits zero (12 hours by default), the winner is the team that holds the single richest player. If two teams are tied on that, team total breaks the tie.

Winner buffs: Everyone on the winning team gets potion effects for an hour. The hour only counts down while you're online. If the same team color wins again, the buffs get better:
- 1 win: Speed I, Strength I
- 2 in a row: Speed II, Strength II
- 3 in a row: same, plus Resistance I
- 4 in a row: Speed III, Strength II, Resistance I, Regeneration I
- 5 or more: Speed III, Strength III, Resistance II, Regeneration II

Bans: If you're at $0 when the round ends, you're banned. You get put in spectator mode and stay there until an admin unbans you. When you're unbanned you come back with starting money on a team.

Time off: If the server is shut down, that time doesn't count against the round or any event.

WHAT'S ON YOUR SCREEN
The panel on the right shows the round number and time left, the current event and minigame if there is one, and every team with its total. Under each team are its players and their money. A crown marks the richest player on the server. You show up in bold yellow, and players who are offline are greyed out.

The bar above your hotbar shows your money and team. Admins can turn that off in settings.

THE BORDER
There's a round border around the world spawn, 4000 blocks out by default. You get a warning in the last 100 blocks. Go past it and you take damage that gets worse the further out you go, and you get pushed back toward the middle. It only applies in the overworld. Admins can change the radius or turn it off.

THE SHOP
Open it with /pyrow:shop. You pay with your round money and the item goes into your inventory (or drops at your feet if you're full).

Default items:
- Golden Apple x1 - $15
- Ender Pearl x1 - $15
- Steak x16 - $10
- Arrows x32 - $10
- Shield x1 - $15
- Iron Ingots x16 - $20
- Diamond x1 - $30
- Totem of Undying x1 - $60

Admins can change all of this from /pyrow:admin, then Manage shop. You can edit names, amounts and prices, remove things, add any item by its ID (like minecraft:netherite_ingot), restore the starter list, or empty the shop. One purchase can't give more than 2304 of an item.

EVENTS
When random events are on, one starts every 30 to 180 minutes and runs for an hour. You get a heads-up in chat when 5 minutes are left.

- Starvation: hunger drains much faster
- Double Dough: kills are worth double, and dying costs double
- Exhausted: everyone moves and hits more slowly
- Forbidden Fruit: leaves have a small chance to drop golden apples
- Miner's Haven: ores give extra drops (not with Silk Touch)
- Vulnerable: health is capped at 5 hearts
- Anonymous: all name tags are hidden
- Paranoia: random blindness, nausea and creepy sounds
- Ultra Hardcore: no natural health regeneration
- Flimsy Armor: armor wears out much faster
- Glow and Behold: night vision and a sparkly trail
- Shieldless: shields can't be used
- Quick Math: maths questions pop up in chat, first correct answer wins money

Quick Math: the first question shows up about 20 seconds in, then every two to five minutes after that. You get 45 seconds. Answer with /pyrow:answer 84 (or whatever the number is). The prize is $10 by default.

Event names for /pyrow:startevent are lowercase with underscores, like double_dough or ultra_hardcore. The command autocompletes them.

MINIGAMES
Only one can run at a time. To start one, stand where you want it to happen and run /pyrow:startminigame. It shows the names as you type.

Protect the VIP (protect_the_vip)
Each team gets one random VIP from its online players, and you need at least two teams with someone online. VIPs glow and have a marker on their name tag. Keep your VIP alive and hunt the others. If a VIP dies or leaves, that team is out. The last team with a living VIP wins $100 per member. The fight happens inside a circle around the spot where it started. The circle starts at 150 blocks and shrinks to 15 over 15 minutes. Standing outside it hurts.

Capture the Point (capture_the_point)
The point is the block you were standing on, with a small zone around it marked by particles. A team fills its capture bar by standing in the zone with nobody from another team in there. If two teams are in it, nobody gains anything. Progress isn't lost when you leave. The first team to hold it for 90 seconds total wins $60 per member.

If something goes wrong or you just want to cancel, /pyrow:endminigame shuts it down with no winner.

ADMIN SETTINGS
/pyrow:admin, then Settings. Defaults:
- Starting money: $100
- Money per kill: $20
- Round length: 12 hours (changes apply from the next round)
- Winner effects last: 60 minutes
- Money above hotbar: on
- Announce bans in chat: on
- Random events: on
- Event length: 60 minutes
- World border: on
- Border radius: 4000 blocks
- Protect the VIP prize: $100
- Capture the Point prize: $60
- Quick Math prize: $10

If you leave a box empty or type something that isn't a number, it keeps the old value. The gap between random events (30 to 180 minutes) isn't in the menu.

Players in the admin menu lists everyone who has ever joined. Pick one to change their money or flip the ban switch. Banned players lists who's banned and asks you to confirm before it unbans someone.

IF SOMETHING'S OFF
- No leaderboard on screen: the resource pack isn't on the world. Add it.
- Commands don't show up: check you're on 1.21.130 or newer. For the admin ones, check you're an operator.
- "You are not in this round": you're banned, or you haven't respawned since the add-on loaded. Respawn or rejoin. If you're banned, ask an admin.
- An event seems stuck: /pyrow:endevent ends it.
- A minigame won't start: another one is probably running, or for Protect the VIP there aren't two teams with players online.
