PowerClash

Complete Add-on Guide: Powers, Abilities, Ultimates, and Special Weapons

1. Introduction

PowerClash is a Minecraft Bedrock add-on that brings supernatural powers, elemental combat, unique abilities, cinematic effects, and powerful Ultimate attacks into the game.

The add-on features 11 different power types, each with its own theme, five abilities, and a powerful Ultimate. Every power offers a different playstyle, whether you prefer fast movement, defensive abilities, crowd control, powerful area attacks, stealth, time manipulation, or cosmic destruction.

PowerClash also features three special weapons: the Fire Katana, Storm Dagger, and Shockwave Gauntlet. These weapons are currently available through the Creative inventory and cannot be obtained through normal Survival progression.

The goal of PowerClash is to make every power feel different, with its own combat mechanics, visual effects, and Ultimate ability.

---

2. Power System and Ultimate Requirements

Each power contains five abilities. The fifth ability is its Ultimate, which is generally more powerful and more complex than the other abilities.

- Most Ultimates require Power Level 25.

- Star Death requires Power Level 50.

- Ultimates have their own activation conditions, durations, and cooldown behavior.

- Some Ultimates require repeated use of their ability item, while others involve special inputs such as Sneak or Jump.

- Some abilities can change terrain. Their behavior may depend on the world's terrain-changing power settings.

The controls described below refer to the add-on's ability-item system. On Bedrock, the precise interaction button depends on the device and control layout.

3. All 11 Powers

1. Fire

Playstyle: Offensive, mobile, and explosive.

Fire specializes in flame-based damage, fiery impacts, movement, and aerial attacks.

Abilities

1. Fireball: Launches a fiery projectile.

2. Fire Slam: Delivers a powerful fire-infused impact.

3. Flame Dash: Uses fire to dash forward.

4. Meteor Strike: Unleashes a devastating meteor-style attack.

5. Phoenix Ascension – Ultimate: Transforms the player into a phoenix-like combat form, allowing aerial movement, diving attacks, and an automatic Rebirth effect when critically injured.

Ultimate: Phoenix Ascension

Duration: Approximately 14 seconds.

How to use it:

1. Activate Phoenix Ascension using its ability item.

2. Hold Jump to soar into the air.

3. Once you are sufficiently high above the ground, hold Sneak to initiate a dive.

4. When the dive reaches the ground, it damages nearby enemies, ignites them, and creates a temporary magma patch.

5. You can perform up to two dives during one activation.

Rebirth effect

While Phoenix Ascension is active, if your health falls to 25% or less, Rebirth automatically triggers once during that activation.

- Your health is restored to approximately 50% of your maximum.

- You receive a brief defensive effect.

- A fiery burst damages nearby enemies.

This healing effect belongs to the active Ultimate. It is not permanent regeneration and does not trigger when Phoenix Ascension is inactive.

---

2. Ice

Playstyle: Crowd control, freezing, and defensive combat.

Ice uses freezing attacks and protective abilities to slow down enemies and control the battlefield.

Abilities

1. Ice Spear: Launches a spear of ice.

2. Blizzard: Releases a freezing storm.

3. Ice Armor: Surrounds the player with protective ice.

4. Ice Prison: Traps a target in ice.

5. Glacial Wyrm – Ultimate: Summons a glacial wyrm that attacks enemies and imprisons them in ice tombs.

Ultimate: Glacial Wyrm

Duration: Approximately 16 seconds.

How to use it:

1. Activate Glacial Wyrm.

2. The wyrm appears and circles the player.

3. Aim at an enemy within approximately 28 blocks.

4. Use the Ultimate ability item to command the wyrm to attack.

5. A successful attack traps the target in an ice tomb for approximately 4 seconds, applying slowing and weakening effects.

6. Repeat when the wyrm is ready. You can command up to three attacks during one activation.

The wyrm needs time between attacks and must be able to identify a valid target in your view. Repeatedly pressing the ability item will not bypass its attack recovery.

---

3. Storm

Playstyle: Speed, teleportation, and chained lightning attacks.

Storm focuses on aggressive movement and lightning-powered strikes.

Abilities

1. Thunder Clap: Releases a thunderous attack.

2. Chain Lightning: Strikes enemies with chained lightning.

3. Magnetic Pulse: Releases a pulse of magnetic energy.

4. Thunder Blink: Uses storm energy for rapid movement.

5. Raijin Chain – Ultimate: Chains together teleport attacks against enemies before finishing with a powerful lightning strike.

Ultimate: Raijin Chain

Duration: Approximately 12 seconds.

How to use it:

1. Activate Raijin Chain.

2. Aim at an enemy within approximately 25 blocks.

3. Use the Ultimate ability item to teleport toward the target and attack.

4. Continue targeting enemies and using the item as the ability becomes ready.

5. The Ultimate supports up to six jumps.

6. The sixth jump initiates the final attack: the player teleports above the target before delivering a powerful lightning strike.

There is a short interval between jumps. The final strike is the finishing move, so keep track of the jump counter shown by the ability.

---

4. Shockwave

Playstyle: Heavy impacts, knockback, and area damage.

Shockwave specializes in force-based attacks that hit hard and affect groups of enemies.

Abilities

1. Double Shockwave: Releases a double shockwave.

2. Detonation Mark: Marks a target for a destructive effect.

3. Repulsion Field: Pushes enemies away with a force field.

4. Seismic Rift: Releases a ground-based seismic attack.

5. Titan Fists – Ultimate: Grants a sequence of powerful punches, ground slams, and sweeping attacks, along with a defensive guard.

Ultimate: Titan Fists

Duration: Approximately 15 seconds.

Normal attacks

1. Activate Titan Fists.

2. Use the Ultimate ability item to perform its attacks.

3. Titan Punch attacks enemies in front of you within approximately 14 blocks.

4. Titan Slam targets a location on the ground or a block in view, creating an area impact.

5. Titan Sweep attacks enemies in a wider area around the player.

6. Continue using the ability item to cycle through the available moves. Each attack has an animation and a short delay before the next move can begin.

Defensive guard

1. While Titan Fists is active, hold Sneak and use the Ultimate ability item.

2. This activates a defensive guard for approximately 3 seconds.

3. The guard provides damage resistance, partially restores damage taken during the guard, and destroys nearby hostile projectiles.

4. The guard has a separate cooldown of approximately 6 seconds.

When the Ultimate ends, it can automatically perform a final punch against a nearby enemy if a valid target is available.

---

5. Shield

Playstyle: Defense, battlefield control, and protection.

Shield focuses on blocking attacks, protecting the player, and controlling enemy movement.

Abilities

1. Ricochet Shield: Throws a shield that can ricochet.

2. Shield Charge: Charges forward behind a shield.

3. Parry Stance: Enters a defensive stance to counter attacks.

4. Bastion Dome: Creates a protective dome.

5. Aegis Architect – Ultimate: Constructs temporary energy walls that can block hostile projectiles and release shock pulses.

Ultimate: Aegis Architect

Duration: Approximately 90 seconds.

Building walls

1. Activate Aegis Architect.

2. Aim at a block within approximately 12 blocks.

3. Use the Ultimate ability item to place a wall.

4. The wall is approximately 5 blocks wide and 3 blocks high.

5. Repeat to place up to 10 walls.

The walls use light-blue glass blocks and can block hostile projectiles. They also resist certain attempts to destroy them and can repair eligible damaged sections while active.

Triggering a wall shock pulse

1. Move within approximately 15 blocks of one of your walls.

2. Hold Sneak and use the Ultimate ability item.

3. The nearest eligible wall releases a shock pulse, damaging and knocking back nearby enemies.

4. Each wall has its own pulse cooldown, so it cannot release shock pulses continuously.

Important: Wall placement requires terrain-changing powers to be enabled in the world. Walls are temporary and are restored or removed when the Ultimate ends.

---

6. Shadow

Playstyle: Stealth, rapid movement, and precision attacks.

Shadow focuses on concealment, teleportation, and striking targets before they can react.

Abilities

2. Shadow Step: Moves through the shadows.

3. Umbral Veil: Surrounds the player with dark energy.

4. Shadow Tentacles: Attacks enemies with shadowy tendrils.

5. Shadow Hunt – Ultimate: Empowers the player to teleport behind targets and perform a series of rapid shadow strikes.

Ultimate: Shadow Hunt

Duration: Approximately 14 seconds.

How to use it:

1. Activate Shadow Hunt.

2. Aim at an enemy within approximately 30 blocks and inside the ability's targeting angle.

3. Use the Ultimate ability item to teleport behind the target and perform a shadow strike.

4. Repeat against valid targets. The Ultimate supports up to five attacks.

5. The Ultimate ends when its duration expires or its attack sequence finishes.

While active, Shadow Hunt grants powerful temporary movement and defensive effects.

Finishing effect: Regular mobs at or below approximately 35% health can be instantly finished by the attack. Against players, the ability deals a heavy hit instead of using the instant-kill effect.

---

7. Chrono

Playstyle: Time manipulation, repositioning, and temporal effects.

Chrono uses time-based abilities to control encounters and manipulate movement through time.

Abilities

1. Stasis Strike: Attacks with temporal energy.

2. Time Rift: Creates a temporal rift.

3. Time Stop: Temporarily halts targets through time manipulation.

4. Time Loop: Traps targets in a repeating temporal effect.

5. Rewind Trail – Ultimate: Records recent movement and lets the player rewind through earlier positions.

Ultimate: Rewind Trail

Active window: Approximately 90 seconds.

How to use it:

1. Activate Rewind Trail.

2. Move around to allow the ability to record your recent positions.

3. Wait until at least 20 ticks, or approximately one second, of movement history have been recorded.

4. Use the Ultimate ability item to begin rewinding.

5. Your character moves backward through the recorded positions toward an earlier location.

6. The rewind can restore health up to the health recorded at the relevant point in the trail.

7. You can initiate up to six rewinds during one activation.

Rewind Trail uses recent recorded movement. It does not let you select an arbitrary destination anywhere in the world.

---

8. Clone

Playstyle: Duplication, distractions, and coordinated attacks.

Clone focuses on creating copies and using them to overwhelm opponents.

Abilities

1. Self Clone: Creates a copy of the player.

2. Shadow Knight: Summons a shadowy combat companion.

3. Clone Volley: Launches a coordinated clone attack.

4. Decoy Explosion: Uses a decoy to create an explosive distraction.

5. Prism Clones – Ultimate: Summons multiple clones that can repeat the player's other power abilities at reduced strength.

Ultimate: Prism Clones

How to use it:

1. Activate Prism Clones.

2. The Ultimate creates multiple clones.

3. Use your other power abilities while the clones are active.

4. The clones can repeat those abilities at approximately 60% strength.

5. Use your regular abilities to take advantage of the additional clone-assisted attacks.

Prism Clones is primarily an ability-amplification Ultimate. Its main function is to let clones repeat other power abilities rather than requiring a separate manual command for every clone.

---

9. Blood

Playstyle: Aggressive attacks, blood energy, and health-based mechanics.

Blood uses supernatural blood-themed attacks and culminates in a temporary scythe form.

Abilities

1. Blood Lance: Launches a lance of blood energy.

2. Hemorrhage: Applies a blood-themed damage effect.

3. Blood Chain: Attacks or restrains targets with blood chains.

4. Blood Pact: Activates a blood-based pact.

5. Bloodmoon Scythe – Ultimate: Equips a temporary scythe that grows stronger as the player deals damage and can eventually trigger a Bloodmoon phase.

Ultimate: Bloodmoon Scythe

Maximum base duration: Approximately 18 seconds, with a short additional Bloodmoon phase if triggered.

Before activating

- You must have more than 8 health points, equivalent to more than four full hearts.

- If you are holding an item, you need at least one free inventory slot so the held item can be stored while the scythe is equipped.

How to use it

1. Activate Bloodmoon Scythe.

2. The ability temporarily equips the scythe and consumes approximately 30% of your maximum health as its activation cost.

3. Use the scythe's ability-item input to perform sweeping attacks.

4. Continue hitting enemies to build the blood meter.

5. As the meter increases, the scythe progresses through three power tiers.

6. At 100/100 blood, the Bloodmoon phase begins and the scythe becomes more powerful.

7. The Bloodmoon phase lasts approximately 6 seconds.

8. When the Ultimate ends, the temporary scythe is removed and your previously held item is restored where possible.

Successful attacks can restore some health. The scythe's stronger attacks have a short recovery interval, so rapid repeated inputs are limited by the ability's attack timing.

10. Light

Playstyle: Radiant attacks, celestial energy, and powerful finishing blasts.

Light focuses on beams, radiant damage, and large-scale celestial attacks.

Abilities

1. Light Orbit: Surrounds the player with orbiting light.

2. Light Beam: Fires a concentrated beam.

3. Judgment: Releases a powerful judgment attack.

4. Sacred Light: Unleashes sacred radiant energy.

5. Seraph's Lance – Ultimate: Summons a celestial lance, sends it flying in the direction the player aims, and detonates it for a powerful finishing attack.

Ultimate: Seraph's Lance

Duration: Approximately 7.5 seconds if the sequence runs to its full timer.

How to use it

1. Activate Seraph's Lance.

2. The ability begins a short charging sequence, during which the player is briefly immobilized.

3. After approximately one second, the lance launches in the direction you were aiming.

4. While the lance is flying, adjust your aim to steer it toward the intended target.

5. Use the Ultimate ability item again during the flight phase to detonate the lance.

6. The explosion damages nearby enemies and knocks them back.

Additional effects

- Enemies struck by the flying lance are marked and take increased damage from the final detonation.

- If the lance hits terrain, it can trigger a larger explosion, provided terrain-changing powers are enabled.

- The explosion can heal nearby teammates who share the same team assignment.

The detonation input works during the flight phase. The lance also detonates automatically if the flight reaches its time limit.

11. Star

Playstyle: Cosmic energy, stellar destruction, and black-hole effects.

Star is the cosmic power, built around stellar attacks and a cinematic Ultimate that progresses through multiple phases.

Abilities

1. Solar Flare: Releases a burst of solar energy.

2. Prominence: Unleashes a solar-prominence-style attack.

3. Equilibrium: Manipulates stellar energy through a balancing effect.

4. Stellar Core: Uses concentrated stellar power.

5. Star Death – Ultimate: Triggers a multi-stage stellar-death sequence that progresses from a red giant to a supernova, gravitational collapse, and a black-hole phase.

Ultimate: Star Death

Requirement: Power Level 50.

Star Death is a multi-stage Ultimate rather than a normal attack that can be activated repeatedly.

How to use it

1. Activate Star Death.

2. The Ultimate begins its cinematic sequence with a red-giant phase.

3. The sequence progresses into a supernova and then gravitational collapse.

4. During the collapse phase, temporary black-hole ability items become available.

5. To begin the Event Horizon phase early, select the Event Horizon Ball in hotbar slot 5 and use it.

6. If you do not activate it manually, the Event Horizon phase begins automatically after approximately 15 seconds.

7. During the black-hole phase, use the temporary black-hole abilities to attack enemies and manipulate nearby targets.

8. The sequence eventually concludes with the black-hole's final evaporation effect, after which the temporary abilities are removed.

Black-hole abilities

- Pulsar Sweep: Sends two sweeping beams around the player.

- Redshift: Marks a nearby target and applies a darkness effect; some damage dealt by a marked target can heal its victim.

- Gravity Wave: Pulls nearby enemies inward, then pushes them outward.

- Hawking Evaporation: Marks a nearby target for a damage sequence lasting approximately five seconds.

During the Event Horizon phase, normal powers are disabled. The temporary black-hole abilities are intended for use during the collapse phase and are removed when that phase ends.

4. Special Weapons

PowerClash includes three additional special weapons with distinct themes.

Fire Katana

A fire-themed melee weapon designed to complement the Fire power.

Storm Dagger

A storm-themed dagger designed around the Storm power's lightning aesthetic.

Shockwave Gauntlet

A heavy gauntlet themed around the Shockwave power and its force-based combat style.

Availability: All three weapons are currently available through the Creative inventory. They cannot currently be obtained through normal Survival progression.

These special weapons are separate from temporary equipment created by certain Ultimates, such as the scythe used by Bloodmoon Scythe.

5. General Gameplay Tips

- Learn the normal abilities of your chosen power before relying on its Ultimate.

- Watch the ability messages and counters. They can indicate remaining attacks, recovery time, or special phases.

- Many attacks require you to aim at a valid target within a specific range.

- Some Ultimates are activated once and then require additional uses of the ability item.

- Sneak and Jump are important for certain mechanics, especially Phoenix Ascension, Titan Fists, and Aegis Architect.

- Keep free inventory space when an Ultimate temporarily replaces an item or equipment slot.

- Enable terrain-changing powers if you want to use abilities that place walls or create terrain effects.

- Most Ultimates require Power Level 25. Star Death requires Power Level 50.

- The three special weapons are Creative-only in the current version.
