Would You Rather: Power & Curse takes the classic party game and forcefully injects it into your Minecraft survival experience. What are you willing to sacrifice for ultimate power? Will you accept permanent, game-breaking buffs if it means living with devastating, hilarious, and brutal curses?
This addon is specifically designed to keep multiplayer realms highly active, unpredictable, and incredibly fun. Every few minutes, the universe forces your hand, and your gameplay will permanently change based on the choice you make.
🎮 How It Works
This isn't just a simple command block trick; this is a fully automated, custom-scripted gameplay loop designed to keep you on your toes!
- The Looming Threat: Every 2 minutes, the universe prepares to strike.
- The Warning: A 10-second warning is broadcast in the global chat. If you are doing something dangerous, get to safety immediately.
- The Choice: A premium, fully custom two-step UI pops up on your screen. You will be presented with two mysterious options.
- The Inspection: Click an option to carefully inspect the exact Power you will receive and the exact Curse that comes attached to it.
- Accept Your Fate: Make your choice. The UI closes, a level-up sound plays, and your new reality begins immediately.
Choose carefully. If you close the menu without picking, the universe will assign you a fate randomly!
⚡ The Brain: 80 Custom Mechanics
This addon features a massively complex, custom-coded "Brain" that runs flawlessly in the background, enforcing 80 entirely unique, hard-coded mechanics.
Because the addon mixes and matches powers from different lists, there are mathematically over 1,500 unique combinations of Powers and Curses you could encounter. No two playthroughs will ever feel the same.
Here is just a tiny taste of the insanity you might have to choose between:
- The Mobility Trap: You get permanent Speed II, but your curse forcefully shatters any boots you try to wear.
- The Tank's Dilemma: You receive permanent Resistance II, but the curse burns any metal sword (iron, diamond, netherite) right out of your hands. You can only fight with wood or stone.
- The God of the Sky: You are gifted an unbreakable Elytra permanently equipped to your chest... but using a firework rocket physically damages your health.
- The Glass Cannon: You deal double damage to all bosses, but standard mobs deal massive damage to you.
- The Ocean Master: You can swim 3x faster and have Conduit Power, but stepping on dry land inflicts permanent Slowness.

Requirements:
You are required to enable Beta APIs in your world's Experiments settings for the custom UI and script engine to function. Built for Minecraft Bedrock 1.21+.
Manual Testing:
Are you an admin who wants to test the addon or force a question immediately without waiting for the 2-minute timer? Make sure you are out of the pause menu, open your chat, and type this exact command:
/scriptevent wyr:test
This will instantly trigger the "Would You Rather" menu on your screen!
