Description
Pet Pack
You find a cow. You love the cow. You do not want to leave the cow.
So you wear a backpack with a glass bubble on top, scoop the cow up, and take it with you. A little picture of that cow sits in the bubble the whole time, so everyone can see who you brought.
One animal at a time. No experimental toggles. Just you, a leather pack, and whichever friend hopped in.
Craft it

Leather | Barrel | Leather

Wear it in the chestplate slot. Creative players can find it under Equipment, or
/give @s pet_pack:backpack.
Bring a friend
- Empty hand + right-click an animal to pick it up.
- Sneak + empty-hand right-click for anything you can ride (horses, donkeys, mules, llamas, trader llamas, camels, pigs) and for tamed wolves, cats, and parrots. A plain click still mounts them or makes them sit, like vanilla.
- Sitting pets stay put. Stand them up first, then sneak-click.
- Holding an item keeps feeding, breeding, saddling, leashing, and name tags working.
Let them out: sneak and right-click a block with an empty hand. They appear on that side of the block.
They come back the same
Name, age, health, colors, markings, tamed owner, horse speed and jump. Saddle, armor, chest, and whatever was inside the chest. The pack is tied to that animal, so you can take it off, stash it, or hand it to a friend in the same world.
Whose pet is it?
Anyone can pick up an animal until the pack has seen who tamed it. After that, only the owner can.
It learns the owner when you tame something, when a baby is born to a recorded pet, or when you sit or stand a wolf, cat, or parrot (only the owner can do that in vanilla). Camels have no owner in Minecraft, so anyone can still pick those up. You can’t take a sitting pet, an animal on a lead, or one someone is already riding.
Who fits
Cow, pig, sheep, chicken, rabbit, wolf, cat, fox, horse, donkey, mule, llama, trader llama, camel, parrot, turtle, panda, polar bear, goat, frog, axolotl, ocelot, mooshroom, armadillo, bee, and allay.
The bubble picture matches the look: horse coats and markings, wool color, cat and wolf breeds, and the rest.
