What's new

OTG Backpack v1.0.8

Sustenance storage fix

  • Fixed the dedicated Sustenance slot not being included correctly in backpack persistence.
  • Items placed in the Sustenance slot should now remain after closing the backpack, leaving the world, and rejoining.

Storage reliability

  • Improved backpack storage safety during logout and rejoin.
  • Fixed cases where backpack contents could revert to an earlier state.
  • Improved handling when changing the selected backpack or access method.
  • Fixed possible storage conflicts between Mainhand and Quick Access.
  • Improved Overpack Page 1 and Page 2 separation.
  • Fixed possible page mixing and unintended page swaps.
  • Overpack now remembers the last viewed page after closing and reopening the backpack.
  • The remembered page persists through selection changes, teleport cleanup, logout, and rejoin.
  • Removing the Overpack Module resets the backpack to Page 1.

Magnet improvements

  • Reduced how frequently the Magnet scans nearby item entities.
  • Limited the number of item entities processed during each scan.
  • Reduced unnecessary particles and sounds.
  • Added a matching-item capacity check before pulling drops.
  • Items that cannot enter a full backpack are now left untouched.
  • Rejected drops no longer have their despawn timer repeatedly reset.
  • Partial leftover stacks are recreated only after an actual transfer.
  • Items are now pulled toward an intake point in front of the player.
  • Added a staging position to reduce accidental normal player pickup.
  • Kept the existing Magnet range while improving intake behavior.

Native backpack display

Added an optional Native Display edition that renders the backpack directly on the player’s back.

  • Does not use the visual Offhand proxy.
  • Follows normal player movement and crouching.
  • Supports all backpack tiers and cosmetics.
  • Hides when no valid backpack is being carried.
  • Hides when the tracked backpack is selected in Mainhand.
  • Improved visual-state refresh and animation handling.
  • Converted backpack and cosmetic geometry for the player skeleton.
  • Added uniquely named bones to prevent conflicts with player body parts.
  • Removed terrain-atlas overrides that could affect transparent water textures.
