OTG Backpack is a modular survival backpack addon for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Start with a simple Basic Backpack and upgrade it through multiple tiers as your adventure grows:

Basic > Copper > Iron > Gold > Diamond > Netherite

Each tier increases your storage potential and unlocks more backpack utility, turning the backpack into a portable survival system for exploring, mining, building, traveling, and long-term worlds.

OTG Backpack is designed to be more than just extra storage. It includes portable workstations, fluid tanks, modules, cosmetics, placement support, quick transfer tools, mobile-friendly controls, and world settings for admins.

********************** MAIN FEATURES **********************

Upgradeable Backpack Tiers:

Upgrade your backpack from Basic all the way to Netherite.

Higher tiers provide more storage and unlock access to more backpack systems, including workstations, modules, tanks, and advanced utility features.

Netherite Backpack:

The Netherite Backpack is the highest tier and includes the largest storage capacity.

Netherite Backpack features:

- Large storage layout
- Improved Netherite UI support
- 126 storage slots
- Fire resistance when dropped as an item
- Support for the Overpack Module

Overpack Module:

The Overpack Module is an endgame module for Netherite Backpacks.

It adds an additional storage page, giving players even more room for long mining trips, large builds, and adventure supplies.

Portable Workstations:

OTG Backpack can provide portable workstation access depending on backpack tier, modules, and world settings.

Supported utilities include:

- Crafting
- Virtual Furnace
- Stonecutter
- Anvil
- Rest Campfire
- Sorting

Virtual Furnace and Fluid Tanks:

Smelt items directly inside your backpack using lava stored in the built-in tank system.

Fluid tank features include:

- Lava storage
- Water storage
- Tank deposit buttons
- Furnace support
- Fluid-based survival utility

Quick Deposit and Auto-Transfer:

Unload items faster with Quick Deposit and Auto-Transfer support.

This makes it easier to move backpack contents into nearby chests after mining, farming, building, or exploring.

Backpack Mode and Placement Mode:

OTG Backpack supports two main modes:

- Backpack Mode:
Used for normal backpack access.

- Placement Mode:
Used to place the backpack into the world.

Placed backpacks can be opened, displayed, and used as part of your base, campsite, or travel setup.

If Placement Mode is accidentally tapped, you can crouch and open the backpack again.

Modules:

OTG Backpack includes multiple useful modules that can improve survival gameplay.

Magnet and Void Filter:

The Magnet Module can pull nearby dropped items toward you.

The Void Filter can be used to clear unwanted junk items, such as dirt, cobblestone, rotten flesh, or other filtered items.

Magnet and Void can also work together, allowing filtered items to be pulled and cleared instead of ignored.

Portable Jukebox:

Bring your favorite music discs with you while traveling.

The Portable Jukebox lets you play and stop supported music discs directly from the backpack.

Rest Campfire:

The Rest Campfire is a portable rest utility designed for exploration and survival.

It allows players to pass time without using a bed or resetting spawn.

Guidebook:

OTG Backpack includes an in-game Guidebook to help explain features, modules, usage, and troubleshooting.

World Settings:

OTG Backpack includes World Settings for admins and world owners.

Admins can enable or disable major backpack systems such as:

- Trash
- Void
- Jukebox
- Workstations
- Rest Campfire
- Tanks
- Magnet
- Radiance
- Sustenance
- Overpack
- Hearts
- Totem+
- Soulbind
- Auto-Compressor

This makes it easier to adjust the addon for singleplayer worlds, multiplayer worlds, Realms, and server-style gameplay.

Cosmetics:

Customize your backpack with cosmetic styles.

Current cosmetics include:

- Creeper Backpack
- Enderman Backpack
- Ghast Backpack
- Snowfox Backpack
- Ender Dragon Backpack

Some cosmetics may be optional supporter cosmetics only.

Cosmetics are visual only and do not provide gameplay advantages.

Known Limitation:

- Totem+ and Magnet currently only check the active Overpack page.
- If the backpack is closed while on Page 2, Totem+ and Magnet will currently check Page 2.
- This will be improved in a future update.

Shulker Boxes and Bundles:

Shulker Boxes and Bundles are temporarily blocked from being placed inside the backpack.

This is a safety measure to prevent item data loss until full nested-container support is ready.

********************** MOBILE AND UI NOTES **********************

Is it working on mobile?

Yes. OTG Backpack has been tested across PC, Mobile, and iPad.

The backpack includes improved one-tap UI button behavior to make mobile controls smoother.

If the UI looks cut off or broken:

The most common visual issue happens when using Classic UI at very high GUI scale.

Fix:

Use the backpack's built-in UI layout toggle and switch the backpack UI into Pocket Mode.

This helps the backpack fit better while still letting you keep your preferred Minecraft UI settings.

********************** REALM NOTES **********************

Minecraft Realms can sometimes be glitchy when updating addons.

Realms may hold onto old files, which can cause errors, broken UIs, or outdated behavior.

If you are experiencing issues on a Realm, try the following:

Force a Resync:

Go to your Realm settings, deactivate the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack, then reactivate them.

Clear Your Cache:

If you are upgrading from an older version, make sure you and your players clear the Minecraft download cache for the previous version.

Always Backup:

It is highly recommended to download a backup of your Realm before applying any addon update.

********************** INSTALLATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING **********************

If the addon is not working, please check the following:

Check Your Packs:

Make sure BOTH the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack are active in your world settings.

Bedrock sometimes fails to auto-apply both packs.

Clear Cache:

If you are upgrading from an older version, delete your old download cache.

Addon Conflicts:

If you are using multiple addons, test OTG Backpack on a brand-new clean world with only OTG Backpack active.

If it works correctly on a clean world, another addon may be conflicting with the backpack's scripts, items, or UI files.

Bedrock Reimagined Support:

OTG Backpack includes support for Bedrock Reimagined.

Important:

If you are using Bedrock Reimagined, place the OTG Backpack Resource Pack above Bedrock Reimagined RP.

OTG Backpack is a very large and ambitious addon with many systems working together behind the scenes.
