Orbital Weapons Addon

v4.2: boss, crafting, Power Gem and Cosmic Railgun

Orbital Godzilla boss (original model, textures, animations, sounds and AI)

• Stats: 1000 health, 12 damage per hit (the same as a ravager).
• Attacks: claw, bite, stomp, ground slam, tail sweep, leap, charged ray and Meteor Barrage. It also taunts and flinches when hit.
• Enrage: below half health it enrages with a roar, moves faster and attacks more often.
• Animations: spawn (it claws out of the ground), a heavy walk, a run, and idle and ambient animations.
• Look: detailed model with horns, plates, spikes, a glowing chest core, a spinning halo and orbiting crystals.
• Effects: aura sparks while it fights, and a death sequence of explosions and shockwaves.
• Drops: it drops 32–48 Orbital Shards.
• Summoning: use the Godzilla Core, crafted from 4 nether stars, 4 end crystals and a netherite block.

Crafting

• Orbital Crafting Table: 4 shards, 4 diamond blocks and a crafting table. It crafts the Mk1–Mk5 railguns, the Orbital Strike rod, Bow, Sword, Stab, Wemmbu Nuke, Wither Cannon and Strike Remote.
• Cosmic Crafting Table: 4 shards, 2 nether stars, 2 netherite blocks and an Orbital Crafting Table. It crafts the Cosmic Sword, Divine Sword, Mk6, Solar and Universal Railguns, the Arsenal Uplink, the Power Gem is separate (see below) and the Cosmic Railgun.
• Difficulty: recipes are much harder now, with shard costs from 8–16 for base weapons up to 64 for Mk6 and the Cosmic Railgun.
• Item groups: Railguns, Swords & Melee, Special Weapons, and Items & Tables.

Orbital Power Gem (new)

• Recipe: 4 diamonds, 4 netherite ingots and 1 nether star, in a normal crafting table.
• Worn on your head: it gives an energy bar that recharges, mild buffs and night vision. It also gives you a Power Focus item.
• Eight abilities: Orbital Lance, Gravity Well, Nova Burst, Phase Blink, Aegis, Overcharge, Orbital Eye and Spirit Dash.
• 3D drop: it has one.

Cosmic Railgun (new)

• Crafting: Cosmic Crafting Table only. It needs a Mk6, a Cosmic Sword, a Power Gem, 4 nether stars and 64 shards.
• Abilities: 10 in total. The 5 Cosmic Sword powers plus Titan Stomp, Gamma Ray, Meteor Barrage, Void Claw and Cosmic Roar.
• 3D drop: it has one.

Cosmic aura: subtle low flames, a small ground glow and sparks while you hold the Cosmic Sword or Cosmic Railgun. It gets slightly stronger when you cast. You can turn it off in settings.

Settings and quality of life

• /settings: opens one menu for every weapon’s settings. It is registered as /orbital:settings, and !settings in chat always works.
• Look-up shortcut: the old look-up-to-open-menu is gone everywhere.
• Satellite overlay: I removed the HELIOS-7-style screen overlay.
• Remotes: the Strike Remote and Arsenal Uplink now have a more upright hold pose.

Cosmic Sword (New Weapon)

Crafting: Cosmic Crafting Table only. The pattern is below, with the sword in the bottom middle.

Controls: use casts the selected skill at where you aim, sneak + use switches skill, and /settings opens its settings page. It has 8192 durability.

Skills

Each skill shows the STRIKE INBOUND countdown before it lands.

Melee

• Damage: hits do 30 damage (you can change this in settings).
• Lightning: each hit calls lightning on the target.
• Shockwave: each hit sends out a shockwave around the target that does about 45% of the melee damage.
• Fire and levitation: the target is set on fire and floats up briefly.
• Starfall: every 5th hit calls a starfall.

Passives while held

• Buffs: extra health, strength and speed, which you can turn off in settings.
• Cosmic Step: sneak in mid-air to dash through the sky.
• Cosmic aura (v4.2): subtle low flames and sparks. It strengthens a little when you use a skill.
