Description
- Railgun: a new model with twin rails, glowing coils, a spinning rotor and a scope lens. It keeps the original hand position.
- Satellite: a new 3D satellite hovers over the target and fires the beam.
- Strike rod: a model with a glowing crystal.
Orbital Strike Rod (new item)
From a quick search, “orbital strike” on YouTube is the Unstable SMP / Wemmbu orbital strike cannon, so I built the rod from that description rather than from a video. It has four modes:
- Nuke Shot (concentric rings of explosions)
- Stab Shot (a column down to bedrock)
- Carpet Bomb (a line of explosions)
- Cluster Barrage (randomly scattered explosions)
Use fires it, Sneak+Use cycles the mode, and looking straight up while using it opens its settings. The recipe is 6 TNT, a nether star, a fishing rod and a netherite ingot. It’s also in the creative equipment tab.
Settings
Sneak+Use with the railgun opens a menu with three pages, saved per player. Nearly everything below is new:
- Railgun:
- Existing: crater size, damage, range and cooldown.
- New: charge time, beam time, ground-damage mode (bowl, cylinder, drill or none), crater depth, knockback and fires.
- Effects:
- Quality tier from low to ultra.
- Particle density, a beam colour (including rainbow) and beam width.
- Shake strength, flash, fog, sky darkening, lightning, mushroom cloud, shockwave sphere, satellite and sound volume.
- Rod: mode, ring count, spacing, power, range, cooldown, delay, explosions per tick, block breaking and fire.
and more
