OP Gear Upgrader
Upgrade your own gear from +1 to +10! Build the Lucky Forge, hold your sword, armor or tool, and spin the roulette. Every success makes it more OP – but the higher you go, the riskier it gets. No experiments needed.
🎰 How it works
- Craft the Lucky Forge and place it.
- Hold the gear you want to upgrade and use the Forge.
- Press Upgrade – a number from 1 to 100 spins. Stop on the success line or higher and you get +1. Roll 98 to 100 for a Great Success (+2)!
- Fail, and depending on the level nothing happens, the level drops by 1, or – from +8 – the item may break.
⚔️ Real power
- Swords, axes, maces, tridents: +0.5 attack damage per level
- Bows, crossbows: +0.4 damage per level
- Armor: -1.5% damage taken per level (four pieces add up, up to -60%)
- Pickaxes, shovels, axes, hoes: Haste from +4, stronger at +8
✨ Features
- Ward Charm – keep one in your inventory and it blocks one failure (no level loss, no breaking).
- Big moments – Great Successes shake the screen with sparks. Big wins and broken gear are announced to everyone (can be turned off).
- Your gear shows its level – +7 and higher sparkles (others can see it), +10 shines gold.
- Custom forge screen – a dark iron and gold menu made for this add-on.
- Works with most add-on items – swords, pickaxes and armor from other add-ons can be upgraded too.

- Mobs Drop OP Loot – Epic and Legendary drops include Ward Charms.
- Mob Levels – mobs get stronger every day, so you'll need that +10 sword.
- Mob Health Bar & Damage Numbers – see exactly how much harder your upgraded gear hits.

Gear icon of OP Gear Upgrader in the Behavior Packs list (per world):
- Success rate multiplier (50 to 200) · materials and XP cost (50 to 200)
- Failing lowers the level · items can break at +8 or higher
- Max upgrade level (10 / 15 / 20)
- Announcements · roulette animation · glow on +7 or higher gear

- No experimental features required
- Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.30 or later (tested on 26.52, Windows)
- Single player and multiplayer
- The custom forge screen only changes this add-on's own menu
Install: open the .mcaddon file, then activate OP Gear Upgrader under Behavior Packs (the Resource Pack is added automatically).
Updating: remove the old version in your world settings and activate the new one.
Good to know
- No real money is involved – only in-game items and XP.
- In Creative mode upgrades are free.
- One player at a time can use a Forge.
- For screenshots (cheats on):
/scriptevent lfg:set 7sets the item in your hand to +7.
