• Bluff charge: bears rear up and roar before attacking, and let you go if you back off
• Protective mothers: hurting a cub enrages every adult bear nearby
• Bears always raid nearby beehives, even bee nests in trees, and get stung by bees while eating
• Bears fish in water and sometimes fling the fish onto the shore

• All bears sleep at night, and wake up angry if you get too close
