Description
Offline Trident Killer
Your trident doesn't care if you're offline. Why should XP?
You know the drill. You spend hours building the perfect trident killer mob farm. Pistons firing, water flowing, mobs dying — it's a beautiful symphony of automated violence. But then you log off, and suddenly your trident forgets how XP works. Rude.
Offline Trident Killer fixes that. When your trident kills a mob and you're not online, XP orbs still drop — just like they should have all along. It's not a buff, it's a bug fix for Mojang's lack of faith in your engineering skills.
How It Works
- You throw a trident (like a normal person building a mob farm)
- The addon remembers who threw it
- When that trident kills something and you're offline, XP orbs spawn at the kill location
- When you're online, everything works exactly like vanilla — we don't touch it
That's it. No config files. No complicated setup. No 47-page wiki to read. Just XP.
Installation
- Download the behavior pack
- Add it to your world
- Throw a trident
- Log off guilt-free
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/scriptevent otk:toggle |
Turns the addon on or off for the whole world |
The addon is enabled by default. The toggle state persists between world reloads, so you only need to set it once.
Perfect For Servers & Realms
Built a sick XP farm on your Realm but your friends can only use it when you're online? Not anymore. With Offline Trident Killer, your mates can swing by your farm and collect XP even when you're at work, asleep, or pretending to have a social life. Your trident keeps grinding so your friends don't have to beg you to log on.
Good to Know
- Normal trident use is unaffected. If you're online and stabbing things with a trident like a Viking, you'll get XP the normal way. We only step in when you're offline.
- XP amounts match vanilla. We use the same values the game does — zombies drop 5 XP, blazes drop 10, baby zombies drop 12 (because of course they do). Mobs wearing armour drop bonus XP per piece, just like vanilla.
- Works with any mob farm. If a trident can kill it, we can XP it.
- Multiplayer friendly. Each trident is tracked to whoever threw it. Multiple players can have their own trident killers running, and XP only spawns for the ones who are offline.
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.0+
