NovaReforging - Custom Stats & Abilities

What is up guys, let us have a real talk about the gear progression in this game. If you are anything like me and my friends, you probably love the survival grind. But let's be totally honest, bro, the vanilla enchanting system gets super boring and repetitive very fast. Once you get a maxed-out set of Netherite gear with Mending and Unbreaking, you are basically an unkillable god, and there is nothing left to upgrade.

The loot you find in chests just piles up in your storage room, and the game loses that RPG feel. I wanted to completely change how we upgrade gear in Minecraft. I wanted a system that actually lets you customize your build, choose specific stats, and become an absolute menace on the server. That is exactly why Novacraft studios developed the NovaReforging add-on. This isn't just a basic stat boost; this is a full-blown custom RPG mechanic injected straight into your vanilla world.

NO MORE RNG, USE YOUR LOOT

I completely threw out the traditional experience point system for this add-on. We all know the pain of grinding XP farms for hours just to get a terrible random enchantment. NovaReforging uses a strict, zero-RNG "Reagent" system. To apply a specific reforge to your weapon or armor, you have to spend physical items from your inventory.

This finally gives a massive purpose to all that random loot you have sitting in your chests. Want a basic "Sharp" reforge on your sword? You just need to sacrifice a piece of Flint. But if you want to flex on your server and apply a Legendary tier reforge, you are going to have to pay up. You will need actual rare items like Nether Stars, Echo Shards, and Totems of Undying to unlock the most overpowered abilities in the game. And remember, you can only have one reforge per item! If you want to change your build later, you can apply a new reforge, but it will completely overwrite the old one. Choose your loadout wisely!

THE CUSTOM UI MENU

I hate typing commands, and I know you guys hate it too. So, I built a super clean user interface right into the game. When you load into your world with the add-on active, you will receive the NovaReforging Panel, which looks like a normal clock. Just put it in your hand, crouch down, and use it. This will instantly open a beautiful custom menu screen where you can browse through all five gear categories: Swords, Axes, Pickaxes, Bows, and Armor. You just tap the item you want to upgrade, check the required reagent cost, and hit forge. It is smooth, fast, and works perfectly on multiplayer realms without causing any lag.

INSANE COMBAT MODIFIERS

The combat in this add-on is completely next level. I added twenty-seven unique reforges, and the weapons get the craziest abilities. For swords, if you use a Golden Apple, you can get the "Vampiric" reforge which gives you actual lifesteal every single time you hit an enemy. If you use an Echo Shard, you get the Legendary "Void Touch" which infects your targets with Wither II.

For the axe mains out there, the "Executioner" reforge requires a Diamond and does massive bonus damage to enemies that are already low on health, making it the ultimate finishing weapon for PvP. And the bows? Bro, do not even get me started. If you sacrifice a block of TNT, your bow gets the "Explosive" reforge, meaning every single arrow you shoot detonates on impact. If you use an Ender Pearl, you get the "Phantom" reforge, which literally teleports you to exactly where your arrow lands. It is absolute chaos in the best way possible.

THE ULTIMATE GRINDING TOOLS

I did not forget about the builders and the miners. The pickaxe reforges will literally save you hours of your life. If you spend a Furnace, you unlock the "Smelting" reforge, which automatically smelts iron and gold ores the second you mine them. No more waiting around at your base. But the absolute king of this category is the "Vein Miner" reforge. It costs a Nether Star, but it allows you to break entire connected veins of ore with a single block break. It makes strip mining incredibly fast and satisfying.

PERMANENT ARMOR PASSIVES

Finally, let's talk about survival. Instead of just adding boring durability to armor, the armor reforges give you permanent active potion effects as long as you are wearing the gear. A "Swift" reforge using Sugar gives you permanent Speed II. A "Regal" reforge using a Ghast Tear gives you constant Regeneration. And if you are crazy enough to sacrifice a Totem of Undying for the Legendary "Immortal" armor reforge, the system will automatically try to save you when your health drops critically low.
