Description
Mob Bond – Tame Any Friendly Mob (EN / TH)
Description
Mob Bond lets you tame almost any friendly or neutral mob in Minecraft Bedrock, including mobs added by other add-ons. Craft a Bond Treat, feed it to a mob, and it becomes your pet. Pets follow you, stay where you tell them, fight in the mode you choose, and can wear armor and carry weapons. A Pet Whistle gives you a simple menu to command one pet or all of them. The whole menu works in English and Thai, and each player can pick their own language.
Requirements
Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.40 or newer (tested on 1.26.60)
No experimental features needed. Just activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
Works on mobile, tested on a phone. All menus are touch friendly.
Achievements
This add-on is achievement friendly, so you can keep earning achievements while it is active. Achievements work on 1.26.40 and 1.26.60. They do not work on 1.26.50, because that version has a game bug that blocks achievements when any add-on is active (it affects all add-ons, not just this one). The bug was fixed in 1.26.60. If you want achievements, play on 1.26.40 or 1.26.60.
Crafting recipes
Bond Treat (makes 2): Bone + Wheat + Gold Nugget (shapeless, any order, in a crafting table)
Pet Whistle: Bone + String + Iron Nugget (shapeless, any order, in a crafting table)
How to play
Craft Bond Treats and a Pet Whistle.
Hold a Bond Treat and use it on a friendly or neutral mob (pig, cow, wolf, golem, and so on). Taming is a chance: it starts at 40% and rises as the mob's health goes down (up to 80% at very low health). If the mob refuses, the treat is used up, so bring a few. The chat bar shows the chance.
Use a Bond Treat on a hurt pet to heal it.
Tap a pet with the Pet Whistle to open that pet's own menu.
Use the Pet Whistle in the air to open the main menu for all pets.

Pet equipment
Pets can wear a full set of armor and hold a shield, a weapon and a left-hand light item such as a torch. Armor, shield and weapon bonuses are simulated by script, and gear never wears out. Equipment drops when the pet dies. Weapons from other add-ons add damage based on their material or durability. Several enchantments work, including Protection, Thorns, Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Knockback, Power, Flame and Multishot.
Other features
Pets never hurt you or each other, and you can't hurt your own pets.
Pets hop up 1-block steps and teleport to you if they get too far away or stuck.
Pets follow you through portals (setting).
The owner/admin can change the pet limit per player, the teleport distance, the pet damage multiplier and portal following in the settings menu. Sneak and use the whistle to open it.
Bosses and hostile mobs can't be tamed.
Limitations
Only loaded pets can be called, listed or follow you. Pets in unloaded chunks stay where they are.
Movement is scripted, not vanilla pathfinding. Pets can't climb walls taller than 1 block and may get stuck in tight spaces.
Ranged and flying mobs are simplified, and pet damage is estimated from the mob's max health.
Village or egg iron golems and some other mobs may try to hit back if you hit them by accident. They are frozen for a moment and can't hurt you.
You only see armor, shields and weapons on mobs whose model supports it (zombies, skeletons, villagers, piglins and similar).
Weapon skills and guns from other add-ons can't be used by pets, because those only work for real players. Gun or bow named items make the pet shoot arrows instead.
Items from other add-ons may show no picture in the menus.
Other add-ons that change the same mob's AI may conflict.
Mob names from other add-ons show in English. Thai names are built in only for common vanilla mobs.
Aquatic pets can only be called while you are in water.
Default pet limit is 10 per player.
Languages: English, Thai
