⛏️ MINING+

 

 

MINING+ is a Minecraft Bedrock addon made to make mining faster, easier, and more flexible.

 

Instead of using the same mining method every time, MINING+ gives you multiple mining modes that you can switch between whenever you need them.

 

The addon is designed around a simple control system: use a Feather to open the MINING+ menu, select a mining mode, and then use that mode while mining.

 

Normal mining is still available. The special mining modes only activate when their required conditions are met.

🪶 FEATHER CONTROL

 

The Feather is used as the MINING+ controller.

 

Hold a Feather and use it to open the MINING+ Mode Selection menu.

 

From the menu you can choose the mining mode you want to use.

 

The Feather is not consumed when opening the menu.

 

You don't need to use commands every time you want to change your mining mode.

⛏️ MINING MODES

 

1×1 STRIP MINING

 

A simple straight mining mode for creating a longer tunnel without manually breaking every block.

 

When selected:

 

- Crouch while mining to activate it.

- Creates a 1×1 tunnel.

- Mines up to 10 blocks forward.

- The block you initially break is included in the 10-block length.

- The direction follows where you're looking.

 

Useful when you want to quickly make a straight tunnel while keeping the tunnel small.

2×2 STRIP MINING

 

Need a little more space?

 

The 2×2 Strip Mining mode creates a wider tunnel.

 

When activated:

 

- Crouch while breaking a block.

- Creates a 2×2 tunnel.

- Mines up to 10 blocks forward.

- Follows the player's facing direction.

 

This is useful for larger mining tunnels, transportation paths, or simply clearing more space while moving forward.

3×3 MINING

 

The 3×3 Mining mode lets you clear a 3×3 section at once.

 

When activated:

 

- Crouch while mining.

- Breaks a 3×3 area.

- The area is oriented according to the direction you're looking.

- Useful for quickly clearing stone, deepslate, and other mineable blocks.

 

Instead of manually breaking nine blocks one by one, the selected area can be cleared together.

9×9 MINING

 

For much larger areas, MINING+ includes 9×9 Mining.

 

When activated:

 

- Crouch while breaking a block.

- Clears a 9×9 area.

- The area follows the player's facing direction.

- Designed for quickly clearing large sections underground.

 

This is a separate mining mode from Vein Miner.

 

9×9 Mining is area mining — Vein Miner is ore-vein mining.

💎 VEIN MINER

 

The Vein Miner mode works differently from the other mining modes.

 

You do not need to crouch.

 

Simply select Vein Miner and mine an eligible ore normally.

 

MINING+ detects connected blocks of the same ore and mines the connected vein for you.

 

For example, if you find a connected group of diamond ore, Vein Miner can mine the connected diamond ore together instead of requiring you to break every block individually.

 

Vein Miner features:

 

- No crouching required.

- Works independently from the 9×9 Mining mode.

- Detects connected ore blocks.

- Mines the connected vein automatically.

- Has a safety limit to prevent extremely large operations from causing unnecessary performance problems.

 

Vein Miner is not restricted to a 9×9 area.

🪜 STAIRCASE MINING

 

The Staircase Mining mode is designed for creating a staircase while moving underground.

 

When activated:

 

- Crouch while mining.

- Creates a controlled staircase pattern.

- Continues forward as the staircase goes downward.

- Useful when creating a path toward lower Y-levels.

 

It saves you from manually breaking each block to create the staircase shape.

🎮 HOW ACTIVATION WORKS

 

MINING+ is designed so that normal mining isn't constantly replaced by the addon.

 

Normal mining

 

Standing normally + mining

 

→ Breaks the normal single block.

 

Special mining

 

Crouching + mining

 

→ Activates the currently selected special mining mode.

 

This applies to:

 

- 1×1 Strip Mining

- 2×2 Strip Mining

- 3×3 Mining

- 9×9 Mining

- Staircase Mining

 

Vein Miner

 

Normal mining + Vein Miner selected

 

→ Vein Miner activates automatically.

 

Crouching is not required for Vein Miner.

🧰 DESIGNED FOR SURVIVAL

 

MINING+ is intended to be useful during normal survival gameplay.

 

Whether you're:

 

- Making a mining tunnel

- Clearing a large underground area

- Looking for ores

- Creating a staircase

- Expanding an underground base

- Clearing stone or deepslate

- Mining connected ore veins

 

you can switch to the mode that fits the situation.

 

You can always return to normal single-block mining simply by not crouching when using the regular mining modes.

⚡ PERFORMANCE

 

Large mining operations can potentially involve many blocks, so MINING+ is designed with limits and processing controls to avoid unnecessary repeated operations.

 

The addon also includes a safety limit for Vein Miner so that unusually large connected areas don't result in uncontrolled block processing.

 

The goal is to make the mining modes useful without turning every block break into a huge operation.

🛡️ BLOCK SAFETY

 

MINING+ does not intentionally target normally protected blocks such as:

 

- Bedrock

- Command Blocks

- Structure Blocks

- Jigsaw Blocks

- Other protected/unbreakable blocks

 

The addon is also designed to avoid duplicate processing and accidental recursive mining operations.
