Nextbots: GMod-Style Chasers for Minecraft Bedrock
Seven relentless monsters inspired by Garry’s Mod nextbots: Shadow, Dark Eyes, Obunga, Observer, Trauma, Alternate and Stalker. Each has its own look and its own looping sound or music that follows it around. Once one notices you, it doesn’t stop.
How they hunt
- They path around the world with a navigation mesh. They open doors, climb ladders, hop gaps and swim.
- They start a chase slower and speed up the longer they see you. Lose them for 5 seconds and they start slow again.
- They never truly lose you. If you get too far away, they teleport close to you, out of your sight.
- With several players around, they target the closest one they can see.
- If you stand somewhere very high, they leap straight up to reach you.
- They always turn to face you.
- They have 1000 HP and are knockback-proof. Touching one kills you.
Nothing stops them
- They smash through glass and iron doors, shove heavy mobs aside, and phase through blocks when they can’t find a path.
Unique powers (30% chance per nextbot)
- Observer freezes while you look at it.
- Shadow vanishes and reappears behind you.
- Stalker disappears if you stare at it for too long.
- Trauma is slow but walks through walls.
- Dark Eyes sprints in bursts.
- Obunga starts at full speed and shoves harder.
- Alternate charges when you stand still.
Natural spawning
- Every new day, nextbots appear near you in a flash of lightning: none on day 1, up to 5 a day from day 6.
- They only spawn on solid ground, never in water, and always where they can reach you. After 2 minutes they vanish in another lightning strike.
- Spawn eggs and
/summonwork too. Those nextbots stay until you remove them.
Bonus: Bunny Hop
Chain jumps to build speed, up to +120%, the only way to keep pace with them.
