Longer Days

Longer Days is a very simple addon that makes day and night last twice as long! This can be helpful if you want some extra time to build during the day without having to worry about hostile mobs at night, if you want to stay out for longer at night farming mob drops and xp, or if you just want the in game days to feel a bit slower paced. Even the sunrises/sunsets are longer, so there is extra time to appreciate the visuals of those if you are using Vibrant Visuals or RTX!

A full day-night cycle takes about 20 minutes in vanilla, so with this addon it should take around 40 minutes. This means you have twice as much time each day for building, farming, smelting, etc.

Important Notes

This addon does not change how often weather events happen or tick speed, only how long the day-night cycle lasts.

This addon is achievement friendly and does not require any experimental toggles to be enabled, all you need to do is apply the behavior pack to your world.

Make sure the gamerule "Do Daylight Cycle" is toggled ON, as this addon will not work properly if this option is turned off.
