Have you ever wanted to play Minecraft but with more stakes on the outcome of kills/deaths? Well, this addon makes your hearts change when you die/kill, with piles of customizable features.
The basic concept of lifesteal is that hearts depend on how many kills or deaths you have gotten. Every time you die, you will lose a heart.
And on every kill, another player will gain a heart.
Crafting
To craft new hearts or the revive beacon, you can use these two recipes.
Additionally, in the settings, you are able to create your own recipe, which can be made by dropping items onto the floor.
If you would like to make your own recipes, visit this Guide.
Revive beacon & soul bottle
Once you die in lifesteal, your out. But that can be a little unfair, so the concept of soul bottles and revive beacons was added. A soul bottle drops once a player loses their last life and serves 2 purposes. The first purpose is to craft the revive beacon; the second purpose is that using the revive beacon requires a soul, which means it's trade; a soul for a soul to bring a player back.
Once crafted, the revive beacon requires a beacon base like a normal beacon; by defult, the beacon requires a max size beacon base with 4 layers of iron, gold, emerald, diamond, or netherite blocks as shown below. Once the beacon is setup and you have an additional soul bottle, when you click on the beacon, a menu will open, allowing you to revive a player.
Lifesteal enchantment
An extra feature that was added to this addon is the lifesteal enchantment, which can be found in ancient cities and trail chambers. To apply this enchantment, drop it on top of an axe.
Then every time you deal damage to a mob with an axe with this enchantment applied, you have a chance to regenerate health.
Hearty apple
This item introduces a way to get the health boost effect in game; by eating one of these apples, you will gain a stacking health boost effect for 5 minutes. This rare item has a 0.3% chance of dropping when you break oak or dark leaves. Note fortune and decaying leaves do not drop this item.
Withdraw command
The /withdraw command can be ran by any user regardless of permissions, allowing players to withdraw hearts. In addition the command can be ran without cheats.
/withdraw <quantity>
Or a gui version of the command is also avalible to use.
/withdraw_gui
If the withdraw command feature is disliked it can always be disabled in settings by an admin.
