Just Dynamic Lighting

Still carrying a torch just to place it every few blocks? This addon makes any light source light up the world around you as you walk. No crafting, no commands, no resource pack.

• How to Use

Simply hold a torch (or any light source) in your main hand or off-hand. The light follows you automatically. Sneak + use a torch to send it straight to your off-hand, so your sword stays in the main hand. That's it.

- Features

• Real light, not a trick — Uses vanilla light blocks, so it works with any shader or texture pack
• 37 light sources — Torches, lanterns, campfires, glowstone, sea lanterns, shroomlight, froglights, amethyst, glow berries, end rods, even a lava bucket
• One-tap off-hand — Sneak and use a torch and it moves across on its own. No inventory screen, no dragging
• Off-hand support — Light works from either hand, so you can fight and still see
• True brightness — Every item lights at its real vanilla level, a soul torch is dimmer than a lantern
• Leaves nothing behind — The light is cleaned up when you swap items, log out, or change dimensions
• Never touches your builds — Only ever replaces air, never your blocks
• Achievement-safe — Does NOT disable achievements or trophies
• Multiplayer ready — Every player gets their own independent light
• Extremely light — The lighting loop runs entirely on the script API: 1 block check per update while standing still, 3 while walking, and no commands at all
• Fully configurable — Brightness threshold, update rate, off-hand light and off-hand transfer all editable

- Installation

1. Download the .mcpack file
2. Tap/double-click to auto-import into Minecraft
3. Apply the pack to your world under Behavior Packs
4. Play, hold a torch and watch the world light up!
